Nothing new. First was introduction of Magnus Carlsen where they sort of lionize him. Then Niemann's antics online and his rapid ratings rise until he participated in the FTX Crypto Cup where he beat Magnus. In the same year he joined the Sinqfield Cup where he beat Magnus again. There were interviews of Carlsen and Nakamura.
