Espresso is my new love language

I do not know what triggered this… but I have been obsessed with cappuccinos and lattes these days.

I went to visit someone and brought them some fresh local espresso beans recently roasted so they try it with their new Breville machine

They have been going to Costco to get espresso beans. One smaller pack and one big 2 KG pack

So when they took their own beans out to put in the batch I got them, they could immediately smell the difference

Now, the beans they used to use smells like “burnt shit” haha and the one I got for them smells like creama

I had also picked up a fresh Apple Crumb Cheese pie so we can enjoy the latte with a nice pastry

I could not get over how delicious the espresso was. It makes me want to get the same breville machine and to go to that local place and stock up on beans.

The pic above was the last cappuccino I had for the day, this was the first one

It was super delicious and this was before I was told that they forget to calibrate the grinder for these beans. I tried it and was surprised how good it was, not sure I was able to tell difference after when the machine automatically calibrated the grind.

This was my failed attempt at latte art hahaha. I will get the hang of it just you wait lol

When I want to do something I put my mind to it and get it done !

The best part is the beans aren’t even that expensive considering how fresh they are. The guy who does the roasting is super passionate about the beans and said he’s there all year so I am not worried about missing out on anything

Funny enough I am learning that my location has a lot of hidden gems

This coffee place isn’t even advertised, its connected to a hotdog, burgers and fries place that has an ice cream machine and mini golf / golf range

unless you somehow know there is a guy in the back there with bags of beans you would have no idea

Love those small business’ that are super passionate and low key

There’s a cigar shop around here too that is known for having a super knowledgeable and passionate owner who has great prices

That is very important to have around you. A close tight group of people who are all specialized in their own thing and are there to help out and offer amazing products and services

Those kinds of places get lifetime customers so I guess thats enough for them, no need to market when people can’t wait to share what they have found

So I am looking to get that espresso machine in around 2 months so expect a lot of coffee pics in the future in my posts and you will remember that I called it early on lol :)
