Customer Service is a big deal
I don't mean when you have a complaint and call to get it fixed or anything like that
I mean the service you are giving a customer
Without jumping into exactly what happened, a place I used to do a lot of business with just lost all my business because they hired incompetent people
It makes sense though, when you see a business pays low, and hires dumb people, you can expect horrible service
When they have a smart, sharp, usually attractive person working there, everything is perfect.
It sounds a bit shallow, but usually, not always mind you, but usually when someone is healthy and cute, they are also on point when it comes to their work
So when is someone is sharp and on point, how sharp and on point can they be to get low pay at a stupid place?
Hence, the smart people always disappear, they surely realized for themselves there is no reason to be at this cheap silly place that isn't on point.
What happens when a business loses its sharp smart attractive workers? you left with silly people who do everything wrong
The customer shouldn't have to coach the worker though the process.
When what used to be a nice fast service, turns into a slow annoying frustration event, you just get cut off for good
Imagine a restaurant, if you have a client who buys hundreds of dollars a week... and you lose them... you are losing a chunk of business.
That's why business is usually the answer to wealth building
Markets go up and down, supplies get bought up and dumped... but if you can provide a product or a service consistently you can build lines of residual income forever
Even if its just a cappuccino..
I used to own a cafe, but I had a customer who would only buy a cappuccino if I made it.
No, he didn't have a man crush on me, he was just mind blown how good my barista skills were. my secret was tilting the metal milk jug at the right angle and using my hand to judge when the froth is ready. Everyone else relied on the machine but I used to work at a place that had a $20,000 espresso machine and nothing was automated everything was precise and manual. Using the same technics usually yielded better results when using different hardware.
This guy said he just comes everyday and leaves if I am not working lol was probably $5 for the drink but why not take 30 seconds and make it myself? was a guaranteed $50 a week of pure profit because he would come twice a day and I was there 5 days a week minimum
These days you can go get an ice coffee no sugar EVERYDAY from the SAME person and they will never remember your face or order or anything... no soul, no personality, no experience, no business...
Good help is hard to find, when you realize most people are lazy criminals lol. Its shocking to see sometimes.
I remember working at a restaurant, and this chick, who was barely 18 years old, was STEALING money out of the purses of the morning staff and stealing money from the cash lol meanwhile she's a spoiled princess from a SUPER rich family... you would of never believed it if it wasn't on camera lol
How good of a service do you expect from an employee who steals from you?
We've all heard the story of the guy who worked at a suit store and on his last day put on 5 suits and walked out... or this guy on twitter who is in crypto who was talking about how he stoled the safe money from McDonalds on his last day of work...
Its wild how these people walk among us
Keeping good people close is so important and hard to do
This translates to crypto too, benevolent actors randomly turning degenerate. Makes "renounced contract" a marketing point
