A new but scarily familiar form or mental illness

Mental illness are 2 powerful words when used together

When you hear that word you will most likely think of something different than the person who hears it after you

Some people think of a crazy crackhead with rabies

Some people think of someone who has to lock and unlock the door a few times before they feel comfortable leaving the house

But mental illness comes in all sorts of ways

Living with someone who has mental illness is hard too

Sure, the person who has the illness is surely not having "fun" but looking at this scenario in the eyes of the person who has to live with such a person

If you are just fine, it can be intruding

Now one can argue, everyone has some form of mental illness, everyone has their own quarks and ways of living or doing things

But that is not what I am talking about here

I am saying imagine going through lysol wipes like its nobodies business. not just that but they have to put a baby wipe behind the lysol wipe so that they can get a better grip on the lysol... doubling the cost of said wiping... and what are they wiping? everything, absolutely everything, the water bottles, the new lysol wipes, the new baby wipes, the bounty paper towels that are individually wrapped in plastic that come in a pack of 12? Yup, those need to be wiped. Hands? washed like crazy. "did you use both soaps?" "did you wash up to your elbows?" "are you sure" imagine all you did was grab a bag from its handle with one hand and pass it along, you are expected to wash both your ARMS and hands twice with both soaps and god forbid you don't get asked about it to confirm their illness. you might think "well that is not a big deal just do it for them" its not just that, they don't want anything in the kitchen, no groceries, no cooking, no doing laundry... imagine not "being allowed" to use your own washer and dryer... imagine being promised they will do it and it hasn't been done in years...
imagine this insignificant rant is just 1% of what's really going on. no income, no work, no paying nothing, no cleaning nothing, no preparing food nothing, staying up till 2 am daily. why? 3 hour bed routine that involves wiping the floors with lysol and god knows what else... sticking around with someone like this is baffling. why? maybe after 10-15 years knowing someone its hard to let go. but this is not life. this is hell. mental illness is harsh on people but the effects it has on those around them is powerful
resentment seems to be the driving force behind most days seems like escape needs to be explored and properly executed. the feeling of abandonment will be theirs to deal with while the feeling bad for abandoning will distill into nothing as the rebirth of new freedom takes hold. can't be someone who lets their mind take the wheel. It doesn't compute and shouldn't be allowed to continue forever... everything usually works out but sometimes in order for it to happen naturally some action does have to take place. not everything can be wait and see... the wait and see is to come to a conclusion but when that conclusion is met there is always an action that needs to follow..

Sorry about all that if you're reading this and thinking wtf does this have to do with LEO gold or silver lmao it doesn't but wow does that place help release some bullshit ...

weights work too but now wasn't the time to get hot and sweaty

Just realized I didn't get to the point that relates to the title... hopefully I never have to but if I have to rant again ill probably tell you a funny story about how this goes back to almost 20 years ago...

I love a good rant, but somehow I thought this was going to be politics/money/something non-personal.

Was caught off guard. Seems like quite the dilemma. Part of me wants to know the story behind it, part not.

Sometimes things are lose-lose scenarios. All one can do is hold on until they can't, then take comfort in the fact they held on as long as they could.

I assume the person with the illness is not amenable or unable to get help?

I assume that the person without the mental illness is a saint and/or has a significant obligation or the assumption of one to the person with the illness.

Can the person with the illness be somehow convinced that silver--with it's antibiotic properties is a solution to their problem? 😜

Hope things get better...

LOL! I cared. Continue writing about it occasionally if it helps.

Putting it on here could be cathartic and you never know -- someone might have a brilliant solution from their own personal experience. 😀

Sometimes it is good to write about whatever you want in your own blog. It is yours, so use it however you decide to use it. Rant any time! Wishing you all the best. :)
