My Actifit Report Card: July 5 2026

Spalenia żywcem upałami nie było. Przyszło za to 19 stopni w lipcu i deszcz. Szczęście w nieszczęściu, że nie mam co się w ogóle zajmować robotami na dworze, można więc było posuwać się że sprzątaniem. Chociaż nie wiem, czy to dobry pomysł czy nie - trzeba będzie choćby zamontować włączniki. Nie mam czasu ani wiedzy, żeby próbować silić się na rozwiązania smart-home. Gorzej wam powiem, nie wiem zbytnio nawet jak zamontować tradycyjne włączniki... Dla mnie np włącznik dzwonkowy bifacjalny nic nie znaczy, nie niesie za sobą treści znaczeniowej. Ot zabitej słów. Co gorsza mój teściu, jako doświadczony inżynier też nie ogarnia tej mojej instalacji. Zostaje chyba do pomocy tylko szwagier. Ten nawet kiedyś zaoferował się do pomocy, ale nie było kiedy. Mam tego wszystkiego dość.

There was no getting roasted alive by the heat. Instead, we got 19°C in July and rain. A blessing in disguise, I suppose, because I didn't have any outdoor work to do, so I could keep making progress with the cleaning.
Although I'm not even sure if that's the right priority. At some point I'll have to install the light switches. I simply don't have the time or the knowledge to start experimenting with smart home solutions. Even worse, I barely know how to install ordinary switches. Terms like bifacial momentary switch don't mean anything to me—they carry no real meaning, just a bunch of words.
What's even worse is that my father-in-law, an experienced engineer, can't really make sense of my electrical installation either. I guess my only hope is my brother-in-law. He actually offered to help a while ago, but we never managed to find the time.
I'm honestly fed up with all of this.
