“Now You See It…..Now You Don’t!”😇
Silvertop has been patiently waiting for a few days without rain. I needed to remove our old rooftop dryer vent, that I relocated to an outside wall a while back!😅
“Thursday morning looks good Liz, I’ll be up on the roof early!”😊
Early Thursday morning the Mrs was trying to wake Silvertop…………….
“Did you hear the rain Silvertop, it rained hard last night while you were snoring Lol!”🥰
“I don’t snore Liz…….Lol!”😇🤣
What happened to “NO rain” in the forecast honey?”🙄
Blue skies and Sunshine, is what I saw as I looked out of our bedroom window this morning!😎
I checked the weather app on my iPhone……… Again!😮
“Zero inches of rain have been accumulated in the last 24 hours”
Hmmm……….🤔
They are still saying “Zero” chance of rain for today and tomorrow honey!😇
Ohhh……. Just look at the next four days after that……rain!🙄
Liz left for work early, and Silvertop started collecting tools, and I transferred what I needed for this project up onto the roof!
By 10AM Silvertop was at the “point of no return”……. the old vent was off, and I tossed it off the roof onto the ground below!
Thankfully when I originally roofed our home, I saved a couple of bundles of extra shingles!
Silvertop had been waiting for warm weather, to be able to gently pry up the old shingles and carefully remove them without tearing good shingles above the repair!😅
By 12:30 I was fitting a circular wood filler into the original opening.
I “Dry” test fit two new shingles………..
Ahhh…… a perfect fit!🤗
Then Silvertop generously applied roofing sealant. Then I ever so carefully lifted the top shingle above the old opening, and placed several concealed roofing nails under the next course of shingles above!

Other than the fact that these two full shingles have been in storage, they match very well!😊
I think Silvertop deserves a nice relaxing hike now that this long awaited project is finally finished!🤗

Just in time for MORE rain Lol!!🤣
On a good warm day I'd hang my laundry outside to save a bit off the electric bill. My dryer vent also vents to the side of my home.

It was so hot the other day I hung some laundry out and it was dry and only a couple hours!!🤗😎
Last night they were calling for 0% chance of rain and it dumped on us.... and I guess you as well!!😅

What brand of battery drill is that it looks like a good one!
I had never heard of a TECCPO before my wife picked this up as a gift to me a couple years ago off of Amazon.
It's 20 V lithium ion came with two batteries a charger and a carrying case. I work this drill hard and it's just as good as a Makita or a DeWalt!!💪🤗
Looks lite weight and easy to handle.
Liz tells me it was also listed at a good price......she won't tell how much it cost Lol!!!😇
