Ohhh…… this is just like a giant jigsaw puzzle Lol!😇
Halfway through May, and with sunny days back again, it was more than time to set up the hot tub!🤗
Silvertop bought these interlocking exercise mats, to cushion and insulate the bottom of the hot tub, from the concrete slab it rests on!
Now if I can figure out how to connect them together Lol!🤣😇
This will be the fourth year for this particular hot tub……….
I highly recommend this type of hot tub my friends!👍😊
This is actually our fourth hot tub……….
Our first, was a beautiful two person terra-cotta red fiberglass tub, that Silvertop built into a second story deck attached to the master bedroom of our home in Cincinnati!
The second in our Colorado home, was a five person tub, that I also built into a second story deck, where you could sit and take in the view of the Rocky Mountains for miles!😊
Then we were given a free fiberglass tub from a friend at our present home!☺️
All these tubs required a degree of “High Maintenance”!😅
At least once a day, Silvertop would check the Ph and the Free chlorine…………
In Colorado I switched from sanitizing with bromine to copper.
Copper actually did very well, but you still needed to be on top of the chemistry, and occasionally shock the tub!
Four years ago, for my Birthday, Liz surprised me with a large box, containing an inflatable hot tub.
Silvertop was extremely skeptical, given the higher end tubs we previously owned!😮
This is what I soon discovered………….. This tub is pre-programmable, and the latest models even have wi-Fi!
Just set the day, temperature, and a somewhat tepid tub during the week, will be hot and waiting for you anytime you want!🤗
That’s energy savings my friends!👍

Automated sanitation……………
One small chlorine tablet placed in the adjustable chlorinator will keep the water sparkling clean and clear, for approximately 10 hot Summer days, even with heavy usage!😎
No need to test the water every morning like our previous tubs!😇
I attribute this to the extremely tight fitting insulated cover!😊
Did I mention that the side walls, that are filled with air, also act as insulation to hold the heat in much better than a fiberglass tub sprayed with foam insulation!👍😊
Now we just need water Lol……….😅
Our well water contains iron, and it takes about 30 days to filter it completely out of the hot tub.
Or………..next week we can drive my truck up to the U.S./Canadian Border town of Sumas Wa.
For a small fee, they will fill a water tank in the bed of my pickup truck, with some of the cleanest, purest water!😊
They have actually won awards for the purest water in Washington State, they don’t even need to chlorinate this water, It’s so pure!🤗
“Well there you have it my friends, it’s now officially Summer…….. the Hot Tub is finally up!🤗😎
