Silvertop ran into Keith and Lynne working in their garden on today’s hike………….😊
“Keith, did you put up the split rail fence along the deep end of the pond to stop the FedEx driver from accidentally dumping packages in your pond Lol?”😇
“Silvertop, this is just the beginning! The next step is building a deck, with a diving board, just beyond this fence! We have lots of families with young kids moving into our neighborhood, and this will give the kids a place to swim!”🤗

Now I know we have some avid swimmers on our blockchain, our friend @silversaver888 is one!😊
Silvertop as a kid, had almost daily access to an Olympic size pool, so I definitely love swimming, but…………….😮
The few times I swam in a lake, I distinctly remember feeling something swim by my legs under water!😳
It definitely a very disconcerting feeling Lol!🤣
I can also count the times I opened my eyes under water, and they were all in crystal clear chlorinated pool water Lol!☺️
Nope……. that’s not going to happen in a murky pond!☺️

I like fish and I like to listen to frogs, but quite frankly, don't like much the thought of swimming with them, or in my case not swimming with them as I try desperately not to drown! Nope, I prefer the clear water of a pool as well, lol! 🤗🌹❤️😍😘

I have walked in the ocean in Oregon in the summer, but I’ve never gone swimming in saltwater. I’m sure it’s a lot of fun!😊

I've swum in a lot of large, beautiful pools too, my friend, and I loved the ones that were clear without any chlorine! Salt or copper does the trick too! 😁🙏💚✨🤙

In Colorado our hot tub was sanitized with copper, chlorine is really tough on your skin and the equipment!!🙄
Exactly, that's how pools were kept clean in the Roman Empire! Indeed, I'm no fan of chlorine at all! 😁🙏💚✨🤙

I only recently discovered this use for it, which I think is amazing! I want a big beautiful swimming pool with a pebble bottom, and that's kept clean with copper! 😁🙏💚✨🤙

That's excellent, my friend, and it can be quite challenging in many areas due to the ridiculous amount of deleterious chemicals to which most people's systems are subjected and overloaded!
My son works for the water district in a small town close to Seattle. Thankfully, they voted against adding fluoride to their water!👍😇

Our society grown so large and is dependent on municipal water supply that water standards will never match spring water!🙄😮

Years ago, they had a drought in Cincinnati. The Ohio river dropped significantly and was covered with algae.
Even after they filtered the water that they extracted from Wells along the shore, you could still taste the algae!🙄
