I found Cot sitting/hiding in the dark, in our mudroom, staring at me …………..
My brave little boy Lol!😺

Silvertop was outside in our wood shed, when this tree fell. I actually did a quick “duck and cover” Lol!😬
It felt like a tree had come down just next to me!🙄
No prior warning, all the trees looked healthy………🤔
I grabbed my coat, and started wandering around the backyard trying to see where the tree had fallen!
Was it a tree close to the big leaf maple trees that I just finished cutting up less than a month ago?
Hmmm…… nope, nothing!🤔
That’s when I spotted it, laying parallel to our property line, half on our property, half on our neighbors!
This actually “was” my neighbor’s tree…………….
I uploaded a couple photos to ChatGPT to see if AI could determine the type of tree and how tall it was………

Just to be neighborly, I walked next door to let Jim know a tree had fallen, and I was cutting up the half that fell across the property line!😊
Jim burns firewood as well, and I was sure he wanted his half of the wood!😇

Silvertop thought he was completely finished with cutting firewood for the year, firewood just seems to fall in my lap!🤣
This additional wood, will start the beginning of my 24th cord of firewood!😇
“Liz Is it time to light the evening fire in the wood stove yet…….. I think we have plenty of wood to burn Lol!”☺️
