“One Toke Under The Line!”🤗………
Thankfully our neighbor Will won’t be needing his boat anytime soon! The high water on the Nooksack River is receding!☺️👍
Liz was looking at the USGS website for the river level. The latest recording had the river down to 75 feet!🤗

The two of us went exploring the rocky shore at the Everson River Park. It was shocking the amount of large trees that the river carried downstream, during the high water only a few days ago!😮
Large piles of debris are now piled up under the highway bridge support pillars, check out the third photo!😳
If you look ahead in the next few photos, you can see debris piled up on plants, and numerous logs on the shore!🙄
All this shoreline was deep underwater!😮
It was difficult to pick our way out to the edge of the river. Between the main shoreline and the river, several streams with water over a foot deep, were still flowing ………..
I was reminded of a “Flash Flood” back in Cincinnati, when I was a teenager……
It was a beautiful Sunny day!
A cloudburst of rain sent a torrent of water down a very popular spot for people to hang out and swim in a local creek!
Before they even saw the wall of water coming…… several individuals were swept away!🙄
“Have you taken enough photos Liz…….we should go now!”😮
