“Move It On Over!”😅
Life………………just like Silvertop’s hiking, is basically just putting one foot in front of the other Lol!😇
After one project is finished, it’s time to start something new!😊
With all my new firewood split, it was now time to “Move it on Over” to where Silvertop will start stacking it for winter!😅
“Silbertop… when we hike fen?”🐸
“PEPE, I need to make some progress moving all “dis”…I mean this “this” firewood first, then we can hike!”😇
“Grab that wheelbarrow my green friend, and fill it with split firewood!”
PEPE……….PEPE………😮
Just that quick, my help disappeared!😳Quickly he hopped back into the air conditioning inside the house Lol!🙄
See the “gray” looking wood stacked in the left side of my woodshed?
That’s what “seasoned firewood” looks like. You are looking at 2 1/2 cords of firewood cut and split during 2019 and 2020.
That’s the wood we will burn this upcoming winter!😊
The right side is dated for the following winter!
I use a metal punch, on stainless steel washers, to date each individual stack of firewood.
With the newly split “green” firewood, I have approximately 16 cords of wood!😊
During an average winter we can burn 2 to 2 1/2 cords.
So I have 7 to 8 years of firewood!🤗
Just like Bitcoin, and Precious Metals, you can’t have too much firewood Lol!😇
“Ok my green friend, Silvertop needs a break! Are you ready…….. let’s go “Fer” a hike, we are burning daylight!😎
