Good morning all, doing my 5 minutes free writing with prompt - Promise me This. Hope you enjoy the story.
In a weak voice, Zee summon all the strength she has and said to Zion her husband of 50 years : “promise me this, Zion, you are and will always be the love of my life, please take good care of yourself after I am gone”
A visibly sad and shaken Zion, holding back his tears, gaves Zee a last affirming nod, so as not to disappoint his love.
With that, Zee’s hand dropped and the machine eventually shows a straight line.
