Most of us would have try reaching a decision through the elimination method. This method is one of the most direct method that we can pick up as a kid, very likely taught to us by our parents simply by asking us to choose our favorite toy to buy from the store.

We would naturally be able to eliminate very quickly those items we don't want. As we don't not have limitless space and capacity for all the items we created from the start of time, thus to eliminate or to be eliminated is a natural process. We were once only able to communicate via long wire phone till now wireless phone have all but eliminate it.

Likewise in any competitive sports or game, the rules of the game will eventually lead to a winner eliminating the loser and the winner of a match to proceed to the next round to eliminate or face elimination. This is true even for our livelihood, our job, we eliminate other potential candidate to be the best candidate to the job as determine by our employers.

Yes, elimination process is cruel and hard to digest at times, but this is the natural process of time and life, and so we would not want to be eliminated not doing anything or putting up a fight.
