The idea to abolish democracy is a very dangerous and personally I think is incorrect one.

Why do I say so? Looking back to history, the development of democratic rule is precisely because populations are tired of autocratic dynastic rule. The idea of one man's decision for the whole population as oppose to the decision derive by a group of leader and eventual the majority supported decision to proceed is scary.

A decision guided by only one's belief, experience and temperament might not be the wisest for the whole population as it is limited to 1 sample size before decision.

That is why we have come from a majority one man rule to now most democratic rule and to think to abolish democracy is to reverse time and undo decades of improvement. Definitely democracy will have it's own set of problem but if the decision can benefit the vast majority of the population then the problem is worth trying to be resolve.
