A new empire, something we are not too used to in today’s context. As we are mostly living in democracies and republic.

So if I. were to relate, the papacy would be the closest one i can link to empire. The pope empire build on his ascension to the papacy and a new enpire begin with a new pope.

This is actually better than empire built on war and land claim on blood of its people.
