Dhaka city at night. The clock struck twelve. Sohan sat staring at his laptop under the light of his broken table lamp. He is a freelance graphic designer. For the past six months, he has been working day and night for a major international competition. Last year, he had come very close but lost. This time he is determined.

Suddenly, the electricity in the entire area went out. The laptop's battery was also running low. Sohan felt as if the sky had fallen on his head. There was only one hour left to submit the project. If he couldn't submit it, all the hard work of the entire year would go to waste.

He didn't give up. He quickly stuffed his laptop and phone into his bag and rushed out into the street. His goal was to find a way to access a functioning internet connection and electricity by any means necessary. There were no rickshaws on the street, and everything was dark. He started running toward a friend's house, nearly two kilometers away.

Suddenly, a downpour started halfway through his journey. Ignoring his own body, Sohan wrapped his bag with his jacket to protect the laptop from getting wet. When he reached his friend's house, his hands were trembling, and his body was completely soaked.

The clock showed 12:55. Only five minutes left. After connecting to his friend's WiFi, he uploaded the file. When the progress bar got stuck at 99%, Sohan felt as if his heart might stop. Exactly at 12:59, the screen displayed—"Submission Successful!"

Just two weeks later, Sohan received a notification in his email. He not only won the competition but also received the award for Best Creative Designer. That day, Sohan understood that the mentality of fighting until the last moment is what makes a person victorious.
