Musical Intro's

Musicals are something I've always watched, somewhere I've always adored and something I've always found beautiful.
Yet, somehow, even with my long history of watching them, I always keep on finding something cool about them.
For example, it's just until recently, after listening to Hamilton and Epic multiple times that the songs in the musicals/musically animated movies are arranged like a concept album.

In that sense, I mean they are arranged in a way to lead the audience with the story. To help you, the viewer and listener understand or get a lead on what the story would be about.

That intrigued me so much, and thankfully, due to YouTube Music, I was able to get the full song albums of some of my favorite musicals to test this theory and after loads of listening (since last week, I kid you not)...
This is what I got for @ablaze and the rest of y'all today!

Musicals Intros

Bad Day ~ Alvin and the Chipmunks

The fans from 2007 can probably remember this scene even without listening to the song or watching the scene below.
It is after all, the first scene and song of the movie. Alvin and his brothers using the song as a work song for storing acorns for winter.
The trees later being emptied out and cut down showed just how worse their day could get, until it got better...

(Full Music)

Top of the World ~ Lyle Lyle Crocodile

I'll admit, despite listening to all its songs, seeing its trailer and having a total phase on the lead singer and actor Shawn Mendes, I haven't actually watched this show.
Still, I do know the song, I have felt it in my heart and I have a valid idea of the show to know what I think it represents.
To me, it's simply just a show of Lyle's point of view to the viewers. What he sees from the rooftops and how he sees it, promising to show us the view.

The Greatest Show ~ The Greatest Showman

Now this.. this is an intro!

It's upbeat, it's beautiful and it shows us everything about the show and the views and characters before fading into nothingness.
The greatest show is what you're about to watch, what you've just witnessed is the trailer, but trust me, trust your main character—as he trusts in himself—you'll get there.
To the finale version, to the greatest show.
