Three generations under one roof was a very common scenario in the Soviet Union. In fact most people lived that way.
Some of those volleyball girls look a bit on the heavy side for playing sports...

It's not really that way for Americans. You might see it here and there, and you will likely see it in the states with immigrant families, but not so much with straight Americans. I don't see a problem with the volleyball players. Better than sitting on the couch all day.
I totally agree, it is great they are being active. I was just surprised that there are such players, I think I am out of touch with modern sports.
I'm technically obese, so it's all relative to me.
