Fed Cuts Rate - Old News At This Point

It's funny how information flows in our society now. Everything is so readily available, to a detailed level. Furthermore, there is analysis and data based predictions that we know what is gonna happen with at least some high level of liklihood.

This is very true when it comes to the FED Policy moves. About everyone new they were gonna cut 25 basis points. A cut that most were waiting for long than they had liked, but indeed it came.

Have there been surprises in the results relative to predictions in the past. Sure, but for the most part the predictions with the FED are right way more than they are wrong.

With that said, feels like the cut was baked in. Hence the muted response today by the markets and crypto.

As the old market adage goes "buy the rumor sell the news"
