RE: β€œI Can See For Miles And Miles And Miles!β€πŸ€— My Actifit Report Card: May 26 2026

I edited my previous comment to prefer to licenses right within the game !INDEED, to explicitly differentiate from the "licenses" that gamers "buy" to be allowed to play the game. 🀯

What's so !WEIRD is that even if such players already "bought" certain games (their "licenses" in particular), they won't be able to play the game if they haven't been online for a week or so (because the game client must connect to its corresponding server periodically). 🀯

OK, and so noted.

That seems like a very poor design choice and implementation. πŸ˜πŸ™πŸ’šβœ¨πŸ€™

While that may be a "(very) poor" decision, those games seem to still generate a whole lot of sales though. πŸ€”πŸ€―

It's a mystery to me as to why, as I'm so picky about games now, along with everything else, that most are of no interest to me. πŸ˜πŸ™πŸ’šβœ¨πŸ€™

@savvyplayer told me that players who are pressured into completing a game that they realize they don't like just because they paid a lot for it may be victims of "dark patterns" !INDEED. πŸ€”πŸ§˜β€β™‚οΈπŸ€―πŸ˜…

While I understand what you're saying, your manner of expressing it is somewhat confusing. πŸ˜πŸ™πŸ’šβœ¨πŸ€™

I !HOPE that my previous comment is much less confusing now !INDEED after editing it! πŸ€—πŸ€―πŸ˜…

I also remember some games coming for "free" (emphasis on the quotation marks) with some games that are purchased (usually at higher than usual prices). πŸ’ΈπŸ€―πŸ€―πŸ˜…

Well, I haven't checked (since I tend to just keep moving forward), but you're going to have a lot of very grateful digital archaeologists.

That sounds like a great scam. πŸ˜πŸ™πŸ’šβœ¨πŸ€™

Some people would say that such product bundles (games in this case) that come with higher prices than when bought separately in most cases is just usual marketing! πŸ€”πŸ’ΈπŸ€―πŸ˜…

Yes, and sadly most usual marketing is also a scam. πŸ˜πŸ™πŸ’šβœ¨πŸ€™

As with any offer in general, if it sounds too good to be true, then it probably is !INDEED. πŸ€”πŸ§˜β€β™‚οΈπŸ€―πŸ€“

I far prefer the offers that are better than advertised. πŸ˜πŸ™πŸ’šβœ¨πŸ€™

I assume that you also mean underrated products, whose manufacturers focus their resources on improving their products !INSTEAD of spending for marketing !INDEED. πŸ€”πŸ§˜β€β™‚οΈπŸ€“ The same goes for service providers. πŸ€“πŸ˜

Some providers of products and services !INDEED provide very well, such that practically zero spending on marketing is made. πŸ€”πŸ§˜β€β™‚οΈ Satisfied customers would promote such sellers for free, and even more effectively than paid marketers. 😎😏

Precisely, happy customers telling others about amazing businesses, is the way to go. πŸ˜πŸ™πŸ’šβœ¨πŸ€™

Reviews for sellers that are unpaid and unbiased !INDEED significantly affect each seller's future sales. πŸ€”πŸ§˜β€β™‚οΈ Some reviews have enough impact to (temporarily or permanently) stop a business (even a large one). πŸ€”πŸ€―

A business focusing on excellent service and products, even without advertising, can indeed do very well, and good unsolicited reviews can certainly make a huge difference. πŸ˜πŸ™πŸ’šβœ¨πŸ€™

On the other hand, there are some companies spending too much on marketing, such that people are already aware that at least half of the price of each company's products is for (more) marketing !INDEED. πŸ€”πŸ’ΈπŸ€―πŸ’ΈπŸ€―πŸ˜…

I have no interest in companies like that, as their priorities are backward. πŸ˜πŸ™πŸ’šβœ¨πŸ€™

It's possible that such companies are having an "expensive marketing experiment" to determine how much marketing affects the purchasing decisions of people !INDEED. πŸ€”πŸ€―

Maybe such businesses (are already huge and) consider profit just secondary, and the success of the "experiment" of utmost importance !INDEED. πŸ€”πŸ§˜β€β™‚οΈπŸ€―πŸ€―πŸ€“
