Every Season of Life Has a Purpose

As you already know, life is a journey that is full of different seasons. For example, in this part of the world, now is the raining season, and for the past 2 weeks or so, it has been raining daily. This is also the planting season because of the rain. Then after that, there will come the harvest season. In the same way in life, there are various seasons in the destiny of an individual. While everyone will enjoy the harvest season, but it does not come automatically but as a result of what was done during the planting season. Every season that comes your way in life has its own purpose to fulfill. Of course, every stage in life has a valuable life lesson that it can teach.

The life of an individual goes through various periods of change. While one period may vary from the others in duration, but you should know that no period lasts forever. This is why you have to make the most of every season that comes to you. Even during the tough times, you can still use it to learn wisdom, patience, and resilience. The period of celebration also teaches gratitude. When you understand that life is in seasons and phases, you will remain hopeful, patient, committed, and determined irrespective of the situation at hand.

One of the things you learn in the season of waiting is patience. Waiting is usually the toughest period of one's life. This is because a lot of people desire instant and quick result. So to wait becomes very difficult for some people. Like someone finishing from school, and immediately wanting a good paying job. Or someone investing in a business and expecting immediate return. Or waiting for financial independence, etc. A lot of people see the waiting as frustrating. But what they fail to understand is that the waiting period can teach a lot of lessons that you can apply in other seasons of life. It can teach patience, self-control, and perseverance. During this season, you can work to improve on yourself, gather more skills, and become better.

The season of challenges can build strength. It is true that challenges can be uncomfortable, but they can also be powerful teachers. Difficult time can reveal hidden strengths that you never knew that you had. When you face challenges and overcome, it will teach you confidence, resilience, and vital life experiences. Every hardship you endure, and every problem you solve, will prepare you to face the future responsibilities with more confidence. This means that when something that is challenging happens, do not be quick to become emotional or begin to ask yourself why it is happening. Rather look beyond what is happening and ask yourself how you can benefit from it, and what it can teach you.

The seasons of success can teach responsibilities. Success is good and desired by everyone. But success itself comes with a lot of responsibilities. Achieving a level of success should not make you proud or careless, rather it should make you to be more humble, disciplined, and grateful. Your success should also provide you with the opportunity to help others, invest in their growth, and to prepare them for future challenges. You need wisdom to recognise and understand that success is not something to just enjoy, but what you should manage responsibly.

The season of learning will prepare you and open you up for opportunities. There may come to a point when you think that progress seem slow. This might just be because your time is spent on learning, practising, and gaining experience. Every lesson you learn, every book you read, every skill you develop will add to your preparation. The knowledge you gain today may be what will open you up for the opportunities tomorrow that you never knew existed. Do not underrate the season of learning, because this is the season that lays the solid foundation for a long-term achievement.

It is worthy to note that every season in your life should contribute to your growth. Even the tough seasons can help one to build their character, while the good seasons can serve as a source of encouragement. When you understand that every season has its own peculiarity, you will stop comparing your own journey with someone else's journey, and focus on your own.
