Do Not Underestimate Anyone. Your Destiny Helper May Not Look Important
A very important lesson that anyone should learn in life is not to underestimate anyone. A lot of people are quick to judge others by how they appear, status, the circumstances surrounding them, and even what they perceive about them. Because of this wrong assessment of people, they tend to treat them with disrespect, or even ignore them completely. But what they fail to realise is that their destiny helper may not appear important. Someone who holds the answer to the questions you ask may be right in front of you but you may not know because you are waiting for someone that will look classy and sophisticated. Trust me, some treasures are hidden in vessels made of clay, so look beyond appearance.

A friend of mine once shared an experience that taught her a great lesson not to look down on anyone. During her early days in school, she needed to do a clearance, so she went to bring the requirements for it. It took her to travel back to where she did her secondary school, and then came back again. Meanwhile, time was already choking on her. The day she was going for the final exercise was the last day, so she was in a hurry. She entered a tricycle. Mid-journey, it started to drizzle. So she had to shift to the center so that the light showers will not touch her clothes. While going, a man waved down the tricycle and it stopped, but she flared up at the rider.
She shouted at him why he would stop, that he should hurry before it starts to rain heavily. She even told the rider that she would pay for the vacant seat, so that he should go. The man pleaded with her to shift a bit that he was late to work. After some back-and-forth, she reluctantly agreed. During the ride, the man was telling the rider that his car broke down some minutes ago and that he needed to be in school, that he is the Dean of the Faculty and that he has some students that would be coming to do clearance. Coincidentally, it was the same Faculty with the lady. He had looked down on him not knowing that she was actually going to his office. That was even when the lady started talking softly to him.
Sometimes, the saviour you need may not appear wearing a cape. The opportunities you need may actually come from the people and from places you least expect. The person who will recommend you for opportunities, support you, guide you, or even open the doors you need, may not be the person you expect. You will be surprised that your destiny helper might appear too simple that you may not know that they have what you need. They may even be from humble background, or may not look influential at the first glance, but they may be the bridge you need to move from where you are to where you are going to.

This is one of the reasons why it is dangerous to underestimate people. You may not notice this, but the truth is that when you underestimate someone, you subconsciously close your mind to the possibilities that they may carry. Everyone you meet today has potentials, ideas, knowledge, and even connections that could make a difference in someone else's life. There is no one who does not have a duty to humanity. The same person you overlook today may be the person that will provide significance and relevance to your life tomorrow. Even if you do not see anything in someone today, it does not mean that they will not amount to something great tomorrow.
You cannot predict what tomorrow holds. Everyone is going through a phase in life. I have seen people who others never thought would make anything significant in life, but they rose to the forefront in their field. This proves that you should not write anyone off. Situations can change, and the person you wrote off yesterday may be your hope of survival today. Learn to treat every human you meet with respect, not only because it is demaded, but because you may just be securing your future without even realising it.
