Emprender con escasez | Starting up with scarcity

En enero retomé mi emprendiendo de polvorones, uno que ha atravesado más rachas malas que buenas, pero que pese a viento y marea, ahí está, saliendo a flote y sobreponiéndose.

Mientras decidía retomar también cursaba un taller de repostería, en el cual perfeccionaría mis técnicas, me nutriría con otras experiencias y saldría graduada. Allí me di cuenta cuales eran las cosas que hacía mal y que por ellos algunas producciones no salían, era una pequeñez, pero que afectaba toda una jornada.

De entre las cosas que me llevé del taller está sustituir los aceites por manteca para mejor consistencia de la masa, ahorra materiales, bajar inversión y sobre todo resultados mejores.

Con el nuevo año, mi bello país siempre aprovecha para hacerse de las suyas, seguir inflando los precios o muchas veces desaparecer productos para sacarlos nuevos con otras tarifas. En enero un litro de aceite comenzó costando $1200, en un país donde hay salarios de $2800. La cuestión es que estos precios alteran mi ficha de costo y el valor de mis ofertas.

La sugerencia del curso me vino como anillo al dedo pues la manteca la última vez que vi vendiendo salía más económica. Pero, dónde hay manteca, me dieron varias direcciones particulares pero en ninguna había disponible. El estado no te oferta nada de estos productos, cuando desistí con la manteca quise retomar el aceite y adivinen.

Mantener un emprendimiento donde más que constancia y disciplina tienes que ponerle muchas ganas y como si fuera poco en un país donde carecen hasta las ganas de permanecer en él es muy difícil. Mantener un emprendimiento que trata de sobreponerse a estas mismas circunstancias resultando un tanto imposible, no es nada fácil.

Como emprendedora es frustrante porque es algo que no puedo hacer más, estas cosas no dependen de mi. Ahora sin uno de los materiales, la constancia se ve afectada, la disciplina comienza a flaquear y las ganas se ven un tanto vulnerables.

Hace dos días conversaba con mi hermano sobre una pasta que hacía falta para una actividad y le comentaba que no tenía todos los ingredientes a lo que él me respondió que él sí los tenía debido a que en su emprendimiento las pastas son necesarias. Me comenta que él compra los ingredientes en grandes cantidad como reserva ante la escasez porque sino viviera detenido a cada rato. Ahí tuve otra lección.

De esta situación me llevo: debo hacer un stock de materiales, para estos casos donde el país no colabora (again) debo prepararme una reserva así como hacen los militares y como mi hermano.

Una vez más mi emprendiendo tratando de sobreponerse. Es complicado, pero puede lograrse.

While I decided to resume I also studied a pastry workshop, in which I would perfect my techniques, nourish myself with other experiences and graduate. There I realized what were the things I was doing wrong and that because of them some productions did not come out, it was a small thing, but it affected an entire day.

Among the things that I took from the workshop is to replace the oils with butter for better consistency of the dough, saves materials, lower investment and above all better results.

With the new year, my beautiful country always takes the opportunity to make its own, continue inflating prices or many times disappearing products to get new ones with other tariffs. The suggestion of the course came to me as a ring on the finger because the butter the last time I saw selling was cheaper. But, where is there butter, I was given several private addresses but none were available. The state does not offer you any of these products, when I gave up with the butter I wanted to resume the oil and guess what?

Maintaining an entrepreneurship where more than perseverance and discipline you have to put a lot of desire into it and as if that were not enough in a country where they lack even the desire to stay in it is very difficult. Maintaining a business that tries to overcome these same circumstances, turning out to be somewhat impossible, is not easy at all.

As an entrepreneur it's frustrating because it's something I can't do anymore, these things don't depend on me. Now without one of the materials, perseverance is affected, discipline begins to falter and the desire looks somewhat vulnerable.

Two days ago I was talking to my brother about a pasta that was needed for an activity and I told him that I didn't have all the ingredients to which he replied that he did have them because in his business pasta is necessary. He tells me that he buys the ingredients in large quantities as a reserve in the face of shortages because otherwise he would live in detention all the time. I had another lesson there.

I take away from this situation: I must make a stock of materials, for these cases where the country does not collaborate (again) I must prepare a reserve just like the military do and like my brother.

Once again my undertaking trying to overcome. It's complicated, but it can be achieved.
