Mi despertador de las mañanas

Suavemente toca mi puerta antes que el despertador suene. Me encantaría tener una cámara de ese lado de la casa y poder ver como llega hasta la puerta de mi cuarto y golpea hasta que me levanto. Parece una conversación normal entre una madre y su hija. A veces con un déjame 5 minutos más o un yo primero al baño, luego tú al patio. La mascota de mi hijo se llama Malta y tiene buen carácter, destruyo pocas cosas en la casa, lo que no puedo decir igual de su hermano Blue.

He gently knocks on my door before the alarm goes off. I wish I had a camera on that side of the house so I could see him walk to my bedroom door and knock until I get up. It sounds like a normal conversation between a mother and her daughter. Sometimes it includes a "give me five more minutes" or a "I'll go to the bathroom first, then you go to the yard." My son's pet is named Malta and has a good temperament; he doesn't destroy much of the house, which I can't say the same about his brother, Blue.

Creo que ella tiene la mirada más dulce y tímida. Los ruidos la asustan, no puede escuchar truenos, ni cohetes, sale a esconderse en su rincón protector; mi closet. Solo lo usa cuando se asusta.

I think she has the sweetest, shyest look. Loud noises frighten her; she can't stand thunder or fireworks, so she runs to hide in her safe corner—my closet. She only uses it when she's scared.

Su prioridad es que le de comida, pero no se conforma con eso, es mi hora de hacer café, salir al patio y disfrutar mi comienzo del día. Pero ella quiere jugar después de comer, se para delante de la nevera y me habla. Se ve que me voy a mi escritorio a escribir y no le he dado su ración de galletas, ira detrás de mi y me quitara la mano de la computadora. Ellos saben hacerse entender.

Her priority is that I feed her, but she's not satisfied with that. It's my time to make coffee, go out to the patio, and enjoy the start of my day. But she wants to play after eating. She stands in front of the refrigerator and talks to me. She sees that I'm going to my desk to write and haven't given her her cookie, so she'll follow me and take my hand away from the computer. They know how to make themselves understood.

Ella es incapaz de subirse a mi cama, mi anterior mascota Nano la aterrorizaba. Ese pequeño pincher tenia carácter y no cedía territorio. Por suerte Malta es de un suave carácter y no se molestaba. Ella se instala con medio cuerpo sobre la cama, a verme escribir en la computadora, reclamando un poco de atención y galletas.

Así que les dejo por aquí mi despertador de las mañanas.

She's incapable of getting on my bed; my previous pet, Nano, terrified her. That little pinscher had a temper and wouldn't give up any territory. Luckily, Malta has a gentle nature and wasn't bothered. She settles down with half her body on the bed, watching me type on the computer, demanding a little attention and treats.

So, here's my morning alarm clock.
