Mensaje diario de 5 minutos-Estallido/ Daily 5 minute message- Pop!

Así nos hemos quedado esta mañana con la noticia al abrir las llaves de gas y no poder hacer el desayuno. Pero menos mal que una mamá siempre es prevenida y el tosti arepa a salido a salvar el desayuno. Ya que por lo menos hay corriente eléctrica y también la cafetera ha superado la prueba.

Creo que así vivimos los venezolanos de sorpresa en sorpresa superando pequeñas pruebas. Encontrándole sentido diario a la vida. Ya las sorpresas no nos afectan, se vuelven parte cotidiana de nuestra rutina diaria.

Cocinar y tener algo preparado con anticipación se ha vuelto mi gran oficio. Tener latas de sardinas y otros envases puede solventar una mañana sin luz o sin gas como fue este el casi. No creo que nos tengan muchos días u horas sin gas, deben solventar pronto, ya que una gran parte de la población depende de ella.

Mientras tanto ese estallido nos dejo sin servicio de gas y las molestia de esta mañana.

That's how we were left this morning with the news when we turned on the gas taps and couldn't make breakfast. But thank goodness a mother is always prepared, and the tosti arepa came out to save breakfast. At least there's electricity, and the coffee maker also passed the test.

I think this is how we Venezuelans live, going from surprise to surprise, overcoming small trials. Finding meaning in life every day. Surprises no longer affect us; they become part of our daily routine.

Cooking and having something prepared in advance has become my great occupation. Having cans of sardines and other containers can help us through a morning without electricity or gas, like this one almost happened. I don't think they'll keep us without gas for many days or hours; they must be resolved soon, since a large part of the population depends on it.

Meanwhile, that explosion left us without gas service and the inconvenience of this morning.
