Mensaje diario de 5 minutos-Cortina de terciopelo/ Daily 5 minute message- Velvet curtain

Hay personas que les gusta dormir en total oscuridad, simplemente la luz les molesta y otras que se levantan apenas ven los rayos solares entrando por su ventana. Es por eso que me gustan las cortinas claras y que entre la luz. Pero tengo entender que otras personas le gustan las oscuras y pesadas de terciopelo, que para mi son difíciles de lavar.

Cada diciembre y a mitad de año bajo todas las cortinas y me pongo a lavarlas, es una rutina de navidad. Este año que paso lo pude hacer con tranquilidad en Enero porque hubo agua todos los días. Y fue excelente, el ambiente en la habitación simplemente cambio, hay que ver que bien se siente la limpieza. Aunque me tenga que tomar dos alergénicos y ponerme un tapa bocas.

Me gusta la limpieza pero soy alérgica al polvo que hay que quitar y muchas veces a los productos que hay que utilizar, pero no importa lo mejor es la sensación de limpieza que queda.

Todavía tengo guardada por allí alguna cortina de terciopelo de aquella época, pero que resultan tan pesado a la hora de lavar.

ENGLISH VERSION

Some people like to sleep in total darkness; light simply bothers them. Others get up as soon as they see the sun's rays coming through their window. That's why I like light curtains that let in the light. But I understand that other people like dark, heavy velvet curtains, which I find difficult to wash.

Every December and for half the year, I take down all the curtains and wash them; it's a Christmas routine. This past year, I was able to do it calmly in January because there was water every day. And it was excellent; the atmosphere in the room simply changed. You have to see how good a clean room feels, even if I have to take two allergy medications and wear a mask.

I like cleaning, but I'm allergic to the dust that needs to be removed and often to the cleaning products. But it doesn't matter; the best thing is the feeling of cleanliness afterward.

I still have some velvet curtains from that time stored away somewhere, but they're so heavy to wash.
