Mensaje diario de 5 minutos-Reprimir/ Daily 5 minute message- Suppress. 11 February 2026

Reprimir, suprimir, borrar o echar para atrás una idea, un proyecto. Hay una tecla que a mi siempre me salva la vida, yo la llamo la z de zorro. Y es que cada vez meto el dedo donde no debo y deseo regresar al movimiento anterior donde he borrado por error algo, inmediatamente toco mi control z. Yo lo he comentado muchas veces y es que muchas personas que no son duchas o no tienen alguien que los ayude en el manejo de la computadora la conocen.

No me he olvidado de mi Venezuela solo que a veces no quiero presagiar que el día de la juventud pueden venirse algunos hechos de represión aquí, porque los jóvenes van a salir a "caminar" en su día.

Aunque hay formas de suprimir los deseos de salir a protestar al ver como un preso político es excarcelado y por salir a visitar otros centros carcelarios después de revisar que su orden de salida no indicaba nada de que no podía dar declaraciones lo "secuestran" otra vez. No les quedo más remedio que soltarlo y decir como excusa que su vida había sido amenazada y que por eso lo habían agarrado para protegerlo. Otro cuento más que deseamos borrar de nuestras mentes.

En particular siento que todo venezolano debe contar su parte de la historia y como la llevo a cuestas. Nada de borrar esos datos, se que queremos sanar, pero el control suprimir no esta dentro de las ideas.

Seamos valientes y tengamos nuestra historia contada dentro de nuestra familia para que no sea repetida en mucho tiempo.

Celebra con nosotros 8 años de escritura de 5 minutos, un ejercicio que nos deja sacar las letras desde el alma. Van a ser varios días de celebración todo el mes.

ENGLISH VERSION

To suppress, delete, erase, or undo an idea, a project. There's a key that always saves my life; I call it the Z key. Every time I accidentally delete something and want to go back to the previous step, I immediately hit Control-Z. I've mentioned this many times, and many people who aren't tech-savvy or don't have someone to help them with computers know this key.

I haven't forgotten about my Venezuela; it's just that sometimes I don't want to anticipate that Youth Day might bring some acts of repression here, because young people will be out "walking" on their day.

Although there are ways to suppress the desire to protest, seeing how a political prisoner is released and then, after visiting other prisons and verifying that his release order didn't indicate anything about him being prohibited from making statements, is "kidnapped" again. They had no choice but to release him, claiming as an excuse that his life had been threatened and that they had grabbed him to protect him. Just another story we wish we could erase from our memories.

I feel that every Venezuelan should share their side of the story and how they carry it with them. We shouldn't erase these facts; I know we want to heal, but suppression and control are unacceptable.

Let's be brave and share our stories within our families so they aren't repeated for a long time.
