Things That Grinds My Gear.
Most of the time, we try to get a hold of ourselves and not always try to show emotions to certain things, but then people always find ways to annoy us even when we try to stay calm.
There are some things that annoys me no matter how much I try to stay calm. One is people who don't take their work seriously, thereby putting more burden on others. It annoys me so much when people do this, especially when it's people that I work with.
Some workers take the leniency of their employers for granted, taking unnecessary excuses/permissions because they know fully well that it won't affect their pay at the end of the month. But what about other workers who have to bear the brunt of the work that had been left undone? Especially when it's something that can't be put off till that worker gets back. That's why I don't totally blame organizations with stringent rules because most of the time, rules help create order and fairness.
The second thing that is capable of annoying me is when I come across “people with no regard for boundaries”. Tell me why you are visiting me in my home for the first time and already trying to gain access into my kitchen or bedroom once my back is turned, after I welcomed you into my home and allowed you to sit in the sitting room.
Some people make it a point of wanting to know everything going on in your life. Calling and chatting incessantly, wanting you to share everything happening in your life with them and when you don't comply, they term you as “proud” and call you names behind your back. I make it a point of duty to keep people like that at arm's length because such attitude/behaviour is mannerless to me.
Don't Worry, I will definitely send it to you. This is a common statement made by people who make promises to others but it annoys me when people make false promises when they know fully well that they can't keep it. I have been burned several times so I have learned not to always give second chances. I have also reduced my level of expectations from people because we are all humans, hence we aren't perfect.
Gone are the days when people would borrow from me, promising to pay back at a certain date only to disappoint me and I would have to keep calling and calling them before I could get my money back. I have learned not to be a people pleaser and to say “No” instead of being disappointed over and over again.
We all know when a promise is made, the heart begins to expect and once that promise becomes unfulfilled, the heart feels broken and in pain. I don't know about others but for me, broken or unkept promises hurt me a lot especially when money is involved. It is better you tell me the truth, I can handle it than lying with endless promises, giving me a tomorrow that never ends. So broken promises happen to be the third thing that annoys me deeply.
Thank you all for reading.

That part of promise and fail annoys me too, because when a promise is made, it has to be fulfilled. It is better not to promise at all than promising and not fulfilling. Well done.
That's it. Most times it's better not to make the promise at all.
Thank you for reading.
You're welcome
The second one people with no regard for boundaries provokes me a lot and these people are the ones you hardly know anything about their life but they will like to know every down things that happens in your life, once I notice such people around me, I will cut off the relationship, I don't tolerate such.
That's it. Once I notice that, I start keeping them at arm's length.
Thanks for stopping by.
I hardly understand why people will always want to excuse themselves from their work and not excuse themselves from collecting the money at then end. It's really annoying and immature if I may say. Some do such feeling a sense of wisdom but I think it's just total immaturity.
When people like that work in other places where stringent rules are taken on those who fails to show up to work then they tag the employers wicked and harsh. They don't know that they fact that someone allows something doesn't mean it's the norm everywhere.
Thanks for stopping by.
That's true.
You're welcome @rukkie.
Hahaha, I like these points you highlighted because they're in sync with mine.
I dislike broken promises the worst though 😂😂
