Little Moments, But It's a Happy One: Found a Cheap and Tiny Eggplant at the Market and Topped It in a Braised Tuna in Vinegar

There are days that I don't go to the market because we buy ingredients and made dish that can last for days to us. I bought half kilo of chicken the other day and it lasted for two days until dinner. That's like four full meal already. Ahh, the oldies has their own viand but Mommy D ate a few slice of it.

And so today, I had to buy another ingredients to make for lunch. The oldies still have their Sinaing Sa Asin na Isda or Braised Fish so they don't have to buy anything today. Mama still have viand but no more rice already. She also need to buy fish for her pets.

And we then started a short quest to go to the marker. We used this route because I have to cash out some money, had to sell 0.03 BCH to buy ingredients in the market.

Got an amazing walk there because of the greens I spotted on the way and some flowers

The owner of this empty lot already clean the weeds here but they are starting to grow again. There are times that I am a bit anxious to walk here especially its too hot and snakes might already having a nest there. Thanks heaven they already clear it. Though they might need to clean it again haha

There's more at the back, Mama often found a rice for her dogs here. And she checked on them again sadly there's no available rice for dogs

Anyways after buying everything we need, we then go back home and I am excited to share this. While i'm buying some Tuna, tuna is much cheaper now today, 180 per kilo only. So while buying, we saw a bundle of small eggplants and Mama asked if it is for sale and it is and guess what, they gave it 20 pesos per kilo only. Of course we grab some

We just bought 1 kilo of eggplant, half kilo each. Mama picked it just the good ones \(^o^)/

I immediately prepare a few of it because I am planning to top it to the braised tuna that i'm planning to cook

I simmer the tuna with salt, MSG, vinegar and water for 7 minutes. Then 3 minutes before I turn it off, I added the eggplants then

And it's done. So glad we found these tiny and cheap eggplants at the market, the meal today is much healthier and we didn't had just all fish today. Ahhh, the oldies didn't eat it though. Mommy D is allergy to it while Mommy F has bad knee. Aigoyahhhhh. But this is actually not good for me either. But it's not I eat them every day -ah, but this may be the case on the coming days haha..how long before I finish them all? But I am actually craving for Tortang Talong. I should do that next time.
