When I opened #Ecency on #Hive, the first page had my name written on someone else's post. He was someone who invited me to create community around the stories of a hive where everyone contributed to the common well-being.

There was no competition but collaboration. Every minute someone new was admitted. It didn't matter that he didn't know how to write code to make his publications look beautiful, someone would always help him. Always someone, legitimately willing to help without thinking about retribution or any personal interest above the rest, without double talk or utopias bathed in stardust evaporated in the wind on a slogan.
When I opened #ecency in #hive I discovered a new world, and I am grateful for that.

Cuando abrí #Ecency en #Hive, la primera página tenía mi nombre escrito en la publicación de otra persona. Era alguien que me invitaba a crear comunidad sobre las historias de una colmena donde todos contribuían al bienestar común.

No existía la competencia sino la colaboración. A cada minuto era admitido alguien nuevo. No importaba que no supiera escribir códigos para que sus publicaciones quedaran bonitas, siempre alguien le ayudaría. Siempre alguien, legítimamente dispuesto a ayudar sin pensar en la retribución o algún interés personal por encima del resto, sin dobles discursos ni utopías bañadas en polvo de estrellas evaporadas al viento sobre un slogan.
Cuando abrí #ecency en #hive descubrí un mundo nuevo, y doy gracias a ello.

PD: doy gracias a @maylink por haberme permitido entrar a #hive a través de #hivesantiagodecuba y #hivecuba. Luego, por supuesto, hay muchos más a quien agradecer, pero la lista es muy extensa. A todos, ¡gracias!
