A Continental coffee | The Coffee Shop Prompt Week 180 [EN-ES]

Hello, coffee lovers!

It had been a while since I managed to make it to this magical space where coffee embraces us in its purest form, and I must confess I really missed it.

Since @cinnccf is encouraging us this week to share a unique story about something that happened in a coffee shop, I’m taking the opportunity to share—in a different way—my most recent visit to the café where my son @eborosa works.

We are at the Baba Yaga Café. As the name suggests, the venue's theme and design reflect the atmosphere of that film saga.

The offerings are equally impressive; the unique concept makes an immediate impact and draws you in the moment you step through the door.

For this occasion, I wanted to take the photos in black and white to remain consistent with the thematic visual style—in a way—and convey that to you.

The Continental—as prepared here—is a drink made by blending Crème de Vie, vodka, ice cubes, and frapped ice cream, finished with a touch of meringue and caramelized sprinkles for an eye-catching, sparkling effect.

However, at the request of customers at the time, these two continental drinks were prepared differently, as they did not want the touch of alcohol provided by crème de vie and vodka.

Beyond that detail, I was also captivated by how the young women preparing each drink strive to deliver the very best in terms of visual appeal, aroma, and ultimate flavor.

The aroma of coffee permeates every gesture, inviting us to imagine we are inside that iconic hotel we all call the Continental.

And so, thanks to the magic of imagination, I’ll take my leave for now—sharing a sip of strong coffee with you and reminding you never to stop smiling!

¡Hola amantes del café!

Hacía tiempo que no lograba llegar a este espacio mágico donde el café nos abraza en su más puro estilo y les confieso que lo extrañaba notablemente.

Aprovecho, que esta semana @cinnccf nos motiva a una entrega singular sobre algo sucedido en alguna cafetería, para mostrarles, de modo diferente, la más reciente visita que hice a la cafetería donde está trabajando mi hijo @eborosa

Estamos en la Cafetería Baba Yaga. Como su nombre indica, la temática y diseño del lugar están a tono con la atmósfera que imprime dicha saga fílmica.

Las ofertas, no se quedan atrás. Lo novedoso impacta y atrae apenas uno cruza el umbral del sitio.

En esta ocasión, quise hacer las fotos en blanco y negro para ser coherente con la visualidad temática de algún modo y así transmitírselas a ustedes.

El Continental, acá es una bebida que se elabora mezclando Crema de Vié, Vodka, cubitos de hielo, helado frapeado y un toque final de merengue con unas chispitas acarameladas a modo de iluminación atractiva.

Sin embargo, a solicitud de los clientes del momento, estas dos bebidas continentales se elaboraron de otra manera pues no deseaban el toque de alcohol que ofrecen la crema de vié y el vodka.

Más allá de ese detalle, igual me cautivó cómo las muchachas encargadas de elaborar cada bebida se esmeran en brindar lo máximo en su calidad visual, aromática y final en el sabor de las mismas.

El aroma del café, sobresale en cada gesto invitándonos a imaginar estamos dentro de ese Hotel icónico que todos llamamos Continental.

Y es así que, gracias a la magia de la imaginación, me voy despidiendo por ahora, compartiéndoles un sorbo de café bien fuerte y recordándoles que ¡nunca dejen de sonreír!
