The hive blockchain is a social blockchain where individuals can interact, blog, game, sing, write, basically express their creative side and earn in the process. It has its native token, Hive, and the Hive-backed dollar (HBD), which is tied 1 to 1 with USD and sometimes fluctuates depending on market conditions.

I was introduced to the Hive blockchain by a friend of mine who is a singer on the Hive platform. He was very persistent about my joining the Hive blockchain. He would always tell me how he was earning HIVE, the native token on the blockchain, and how fun it was to be part of communities on the blockchain. I had always known about Hive as a cryptocurrency, but I never knew it had a blockchain of its own, which was a social platform where people engaged in various forms of participation, including singing, writing, and other forms of art.

What interests me most on Hive is the reward system of the Hive blockchain. An individual who is serious about their participation on the Hive blockchain has the chance to amass a good volume of the Hive native token, which can be staked for more rewards and also to gain a better reputation and influence.

Another incredible thing about the Hive blockchain is that it creates an avenue where people can come together to interact and have fun with each other. It is a platform that bring like minds together with the help of communities that usually host weekly activities of writing prompts, singing and other arts prompts. People can learn and support each other, and also make friends on the platform with like minds.

With the help of the prompts in the writing communities, for instance, one can develop themselves better in the path of writing, since communities usually provide topics through daily or weekly prompts for community members to work on, which gives them topics to write on and be very creative. It also creates an avenue for writers to read and learn from other skilled writers who are better than themselves through reading other people’s submissions and also engaging with them.

The Hive blockchain has helped me develop a serious love for writing. With consistent participation, I have found that I’m able to write better each time I sit to write, writing stories and participating in prompt topics very often.
