Splinterlands 🐉| Water Combo for Low Mana Battles! Djinn Oshannus &amp; Kelya [EN/PT]

This water combo for low mana games has as its main team composition the Djinn Oshannus and Kelya, being very strong in games with only 12 mana, since it has a certain defense against melees with Kelya's +1 Shield and against mages thanks to Oshannus' void, not to mention the speed that these two reach with 6 Speed dodging most of the attacks.

In addition to this core, we also have support cards that make this combo even better. The main support is Merdaali Guardian, who will heal Djinn Oshannus and also repair the shield that Kelya will provide to allies, increasing the survivability of this tank/DPS. We also have the creeping ooze to increase the speed difference between Oshannus and the other enemy cards.

Finally, in this match we added Alfredo to the backline to protect the Merdaali Guardian and that extra 1 damage in case the opponent has ways to heal, and also in the first position the Torrent Spawn that will tank an extra hit. At the end I comment on another card that could be added to make this combo even better.

Details of this Match!

The combo was used in a Brawls match where the amount of mana available was low, only 17, which allowed for innovation by adding a few more cards from the core of the combo, which would be Djinn Oshannus, Kelya and Merdaali Guardian. And of course, the water element was available without restrictions in the Rulesets, which made it much easier to use this combo.

On the opponent's side, he also opted for a composition that focused on buffing a specific card and similarly increasing its speed to the maximum with healing along with it. In a way, it was a composition similar to mine that focused on Djinn Oshannus as the main card. In the opponent's case, Tatiana Blayde, who has 5 Speed, would receive +2 Speed from Byzantine Kitty and also +1 to all stats from Martyr's ability once Fungus Flinger was defeated. This is also a very good composition, which shows the strength of the Speed stat in Splinterlands.

Game Insights to Improve Your Deck!

I believe that an improvement that could have been made for matches like this, in which Fray Limit allowed the use of cards from any collection, would be the addition of a Chicken card to the Deck. This card, in addition to helping in brawls like this, is useful in other game modes such as Tournaments and in Wild matches, being widely used in any combination that ends up having a spot left on the team. It is essential in a Deck because it can tank a hit on the backline or frontline depending on where it is positioned. In this matchup, I believe that adding it right after Alfredo would protect my backline against possible sneaks.

Currently, the cheapest common Chicken costs $0.408, but it would be interesting to get one at level 3, at which level it receives +1 Melee Attack, costing $2.50. Another possibility would be to get a Furious Chicken gold that is already lvl 3 from the start, for $13.7. The difference is that in every game that it is used (many) you will earn a bonus rewards. In the rental today you would be paying 1 DEC per day to use a gold foil which would be 2.51% of APR, making it more worthwhile to rent if necessary.

Water Combo for Low Mana Battles!

Esse combo de água para partidas com baixa quantidade de mana tem como composição principal para o time o Djinn Oshannus e Kelya, sendo muito fortes em partidas com apenas 12 mana, já que tem uma certa defesa contra melees com +1 de Shield da Kelya e contra magos graças ao void do Oshannus, sem contar a velcoidade que chega com esses dois à 6 de Speed desviando de grande parte dos ataques.

Além desse core, temos também as cartas suporte que deixam esse combo ainda melhor. A principal suporte é a Merdaali Guardian, que vai curar o Djinn Oshannus e também reparar o escudo que a Kelya vai fornecer aos aliados, aumentando a sobrevivência desse tank/DPS. Ainda, temos o creeping ooze para aumentar a diferença de velocidade entre o oshannus e as demais cartas inimigas.

Por fim, nessa partida adicionamos na backline o Alfredo para a proteção da Merdaali Guardian e aquele 1 de dano a mais caso o oponente tenha formas de se curar, e também na primeira posição o Torrent Spawn que vai tankar um hit extra. Comento no final uma outra carta que poderia ser adicionada para deixar esse combo ainda melhor.

Detalhes dessa Partida!

O combo foi utilizado justamente em uma partida do Brawls que a quantidade de mana disponível era baixa, apenas 17, o que permitiu inovar adicionando algumas cartas a mais do core do combo que seria o Djinn Oshannus, Kelya e Merdaali Guardian. E claro, o elemento água estava disponível sem restrições nas Rulesets, o que facilitou bastante a utilização dessa combo.

Do lado do oponente, ele também optou por uma composição com foco em buffar uma carta em específico e de forma semelhante subir a sua velocidade ao máximo com heal junto. De certa forma foi uma composição parecida com a minha que teve o foco no Djinn Oshannus como carta principal. No caso do oponente, a Tatiana Blayde que tem 5 de Speed receberia +2 de Speed da Byzantine Kitty e também +1 em todos os status da habilidade Martyr assim que o Fungus flinger fosse derrotado, uma composição muito boa também, o que mostra a força do status de velocidade no Splinterlands.

Insights da Partida para Melhorar o Deck!

Acredito que uma melhoria que poderia ter sido feita para partidas como essa, em que o Fray Limit permitia usar cartas de qualquer coleção, seria a adição de uma carta Chicken no Deck. Essa carta além de ajudar em brawls como esse é útil em outro modos de jogo como Torneios e em partidas do Wild, sendo muito utilizada em qualquer combinação que acabe sobrando uma vaga no time. Ela é fundamental em um Deck porque consegue tankar um hit na backline ou no frontline dependendo de onde for posicionada, nessa partida acredito que adicioná-la logo após o Alfredo protegeria a minha backline contra possíveis sneaks.
