I would like to take you to the beautiful land of Santa Clara, on my beautiful island of Cuba.

Right in the famous Vidal Park is this beautiful neocolonial mansion, which houses the second Museum of Decorative Arts in the country.
I mean, the second most important. Only surpassed by the museum located in Havana.

From the moment you enter the museum (which is like entering a house from that time), you begin to encounter the first sculptures.

Sculptures dating back to the 18th century.

And not just the sculptures and furniture, but also the architecture, stained glass, ironwork, and craftsmanship are all beautiful works of art.

All the furniture comes from different European countries, and each one is a work of art in itself.

After the hallway, we arrived at a huge waiting room.

This is how we found this beautiful Chinese porcelain vase, only it's French.

Stained-glass windows are another classic decorative art work from that era in our country, and hopefully, they will be revived at some point.

The doors and windows are also typical of this type of construction.

They even have a small collection of fans on permanent display.

More than a dozen cultural activities take place in the inner courtyard, attended by hundreds of artists from all over the country.

Several of Cuba's most important events take place in this courtyard.

The museum has a dozen permanent exhibition halls. Some, like this one, are equipped to host chamber music groups or lectures.

Hola, estimados viajeros.

Quisiera llevarlos a la hermosa tierra de Santa Clara, en mi bella isla de Cuba.

Justo en el afamado Parque Vidal se encuentra esta hermosa casona neocolonial, que alberga al segundo Museo De Artes Decorativas del país.
Me refiero, al segundo en importancia. Solo relegado por el museo que radica en La Habana.

Ya desde el momento en que entras al museo (que es como entrar a una casa de aquel entonces) te comienzas a encontrar las primeras esculturas.

Esculturas que datan del siglo XVIII.

Y no solo las esculturas y mobiliario, también la arquitectura, los vitrales, la herrería, la artesanía también son hermosas obras de arte.

Todo el mobiliario proviene de diferentes países de Europa y todos en sí, consisten una obra de arte.

Después de zaguán llegamos a un inmenso salón de espera.

Así nos encontramos a este hermoso jarrón de porcelana china, solo que es francés.

Los vitrales son otras de las obras de arte decorativas clásicas de aquella época en nuestro país y que ojalá y se retome en algún momento.

Las puertas y ventanas también son las propias de este tipo de construcción.

Tienen hasta una pequeña colección de abanicos en exposición permanente.

En el patio interior se realizan más de una docena de actividades culturales, donde acuden cientos de artistas de todo el país.

En este patio tienen lugar varios de los eventos más importantes de Cuba.

El museo una decena de salas de exposiciones permanentes. Algunas, como esta, están preparadas para acoger a agrupaciones de música de cámara o conferencias.

Por supuesto, siempre sin perder de vista que es un museo, una casa repleta de objetos de arte decorando el lugar.
