My last coffee

Greetings, everyone.

I'm not one of those people who take a lot of pictures of the places they go. In fact, I don't like to. I'm old school. I like to go out for coffee, whether with my wife or children, and dedicate that time exclusively to them.

However, this week's prompt reminded me of one of the last cafes I went to before moving to Spain.

I decided to take some pictures of the place, since I knew those might be the last photos I would have of a cafe in my country; And every day that passes confirms that I was right to think so.

Besides, I couldn't have had a better opportunity than that, since the place was completely empty. That wasn't surprising, since the café in question was located on the ground floor of the hotel where we were staying, and the prices were quite expensive for locals, compared to other cafés.

However, I don't regret the expense, since we had a beautiful whole room to ourselves.

The place was very pleasant, with magnificent lighting, attentive and professional service, a varied menu, and delicious coffee.

What my children liked most was that each type of coffee was served in a wide variety of cups.

I think only the espresso was served in its standard cup. Nothing else is visible in this one, which, if I remember correctly, was a cortado (coffee with milk).

Each of us ordered a different one, and the table looked fun. That's what I remember most about that day: going in with a lot of nostalgia and sadness because it might be my last coffee in my country, and leaving happy and having a good time. Coffee made us happy… just like it always has.

It's its superpower.

It was a nice experienced you and your children have different coffees and that makes the coffees on the table absolutely beautiful. Hope you enjoyed your time with your children.
