My friends make me laugh / Mis amigos me hacen reír - Concurso LOH semana #270

Greetings, everyone.

The answer is quite simple: my friends. It's my friends who make me laugh with their silliness and funny antics.

I've been living in Spain for almost six years now, and the culture here is quite different from back home. People here are more serious, and the way they treat each other is different.

Luckily, I still keep in touch with my friends back in Cuba.

They're the ones who have kept me sane and prevented my adjustment to Pamplona, ​​as an immigrant, from being too difficult. And we all know it's never easy.

However, with their funny remarks and comments in a WhatsApp group, they've made sure that not a single day goes by without me laughing out loud. whether through text or video calls.

The time difference is 6 hours. So, when I'm getting up, they're probably still asleep.

However, since I moved here, they've adjusted their schedules so I wouldn't be affected. So we sometimes spend hours talking about anything and everything and laughing.

The great thing about technology is that it now allows us to stay close and share every moment of our lives, as if we'd never been apart.

What makes me laugh? Anything.

The other day, I got a call to watch them light the charcoal for a barbecue. They recorded every moment of the process, while joking around with the person lighting the fire.

They even joked about things they'd never done. I found it hilarious just imagining them actually doing it.

I'm especially happy to be part of this camaraderie, where in private we can joke about these kinds of things, but then, when it's time to work, we're as professional as possible.

And of course, I was never alone on New Year's Eve. At 6 p.m. (Cuban time) they wrote to congratulate me and called me; since that time coincided with my midnight and the start of the new year.

And it goes without saying that I laughed at their antics too.

They, along with my family, are the ones who make me laugh every day.

La respuesta es bastante simple: mis amigos. Son mis amigos los que me hacen reír con sus locuras y ocurrencias.

Ya llevo casi 6 años viviendo en España y aquí la cultura es bastante diferente a la de mi tierra. Aquí las personas son más serias y es distinto el trato.
Por suerte, aún me mantengo en contacto con mis amigos allá en Cuba.
Ellos son los que me han mantenido cuerdo e impidieron que la adaptación en Pamplona, como inmigrante, no fuera tan difícil. Y todos sabemos que nunca es fácil.
Sin embargo, ellos con sus ocurrencias y sus comentarios a través de un grupo de WhatsApp, han impedido que pase un solo día sin que me ría a carcajadas; ya sea a través de texto o por videollamadas.

La diferencia de horario es de 6 horas. De modo que, cuando yo me estoy levantando, ellos quizás están durmiendo.
No obstante, desde que me mudé para aquí, ajustaron sus horarios para que yo no me viera afectado. Así pasamos, a veces, horas conversando de cualquier cosa y riéndonos.

Lo bueno de la tecnología es que ahora nos permite esto estar cerca y compartir cada momento de nuestras vidas, como si nunca nos hubiéramos separados.
¿Qué me da gracia? Cualquier cosa.
El otro día me llamaron para que viera cómo es que encendían el carbón para una parrillada. Entonces grabaron cada momento de aquella tarea, mientras le gastan bromas al que encendía el fuego.
Incluso, bromeaban sobre cosas que nunca hicieron. A mí me daba mucha gracia el mero hecho de imaginarlos haciéndolo de veras.

En especial, me alegra mucho por ser parte de esta camaradería, donde en lo privado podemos hacernos bromas sobre este tipo de cosas, pero luego, cuando toca trabajar, somos los más profesionales posible.

Y por supuesto, en fin de año nunca estuve solo. A sus 6 de la tarde (horario de Cuba) me escribieron para felicitarme y me llamaron; ya que esa hora coincidía con mi medianoche e inicio del año.
Y de más está decir que también reí con sus ocurrencias.

Ellos son, junto a mi familia, los que todos los días, me hacen reír.
