Bruges and Ghent: Touring Two Dream Cities Brujas y Gante: Recorriendo dos Ciudades de ensueño (eng-esp)

Today I want to take you to visit two of the most beautiful and best-preserved cities in the world. They are two cities that captivate you with the magic and culture that permeates you as you walk through their cobblestone streets or canals.

I'm referring first to Bruges, in Belgium, designated a World Heritage City by UNESCO.

The city seems frozen in time. If the street were deserted and the photo were in black and white, who would deny that it was a photograph from the previous century?

Pro Patria or For the Fatherland (translated from Latin), is the city gate of Bruges. This beautiful work of art was built in honor of the fallen soldiers of the World Wars.
It is one of the icons of the city of Bruges.

What Ghent residents recognize most and are a source of pride are its canals. In fact, in both Bruges and Ghent, we can enjoy various tours on boats or small ships that navigate through them, showing us the city.

It's impressive and beautiful to see how the city lives in perfect symbiosis with the canals.

Whether walking through these cities or cruising their canals, it's a once-in-a-lifetime experience. No matter how many times you do it, you'll always discover something new and wonderful. Just remember that thousands of years of history are accumulated in these cobblestones, in these brick buildings, which, even after hundreds of years and two world wars, remain standing.

Hola, amigos viajeros de todo el mundo.
Hoy quiero llevarlos a visitar dos de las ciudades más hermosas y mejor preservadas del mundo. Son dos ciudades que atrapan por la magia y la cultura que se respira cuando caminas por sus adoquinadas calles o canales.

Me refiero en primer lugar a Brujas, en #Bélgica, nombrada por la UNESCO como Ciudad Patrimonio de la Humanidad.

Pro Patria o Por la Patria (traducido del latín), es la puerta de la ciudad de Brujas. Esta hermosa obra de arte fue construida en honor a los soldados caídos en las guerras mundiales.
Es uno de los íconos de la ciudad de Brujas.

De Gante lo que más reconocen sus habitantes y es motivo de orgullo son sus canales. De hecho, tanto en Brujas como en Gante podemos disfrutar de diversos tours en botes o pequeños barcos que navegan por ellos mostrándonos la ciudad.

Es impresionante y hermoso percatarse de cómo la ciudad vive en perfecta simbiosis con los canales.

Ya sea caminar por estas ciudades o navegar por sus canales, son una experiencia única en la vida. No importa las veces que lo hagas, siempre descubrirás algo nuevo y maravilloso. Solo recuerden que hay miles de años de historia acumuladas en estos adoquines, en estas construcciones de ladrillos, que, aún después de cientos de años y dos guerras mundiales, permanecen en pie.
