Our friend @merit.ahama is offering me the opportunity to share part of my personal testimony again in response to her initiative this week #260.
Friends, I can clearly tell you the moment I doubted myself the most: it was when I was deciding whether or not to leave my country to emigrate to Pamplona, ​​Spain.

The uncertainty was overwhelming.
However, in the midst of that doubt, I made a conscious decision: to trust my knowledge, my experience, and my capabilities. It was a leap of faith, but not a leap of faith. It was a calculation where the most important variable was my own ability.

In that calculation, my family (my wife and two children) was the decisive factor. Knowing that, in the face of any difficulty, I wouldn't be alone was what tipped the scales. They weren't just my motivation; they were and are the firm and solid foundation upon which all my confidence rests.
Their presence turned a solitary challenge into a team project. Self-improvement, I understood, is not an individualistic feat. It's the strength you gain from your support network, which allows you to take risks because you know there's someone backing you.

Emigrating isn't easy.

It's about facing a new land, different cultures, different customs, a climate you're not used to. It's, in essence, a completely new beginning. Starting from scratch isn't easy for anyone. I won't deny the hard times, the frustrations, and the homesickness. But I maintained a practical confidence that I would make it.
Confidence that I had the tools and support to do it. And so it was. That decision, backed by faith in myself and my family, is the most tangible proof I have that overcoming fear is possible.
It's not about not being afraid, but about acting despite it, with the right pillars supporting you.

Nuestra amiga @merit.ahama me ofrece la oportunidad de compartir nuevamente parte de mi testimonio personal para responder a su iniciativa de esta semana #260.
Amigas, les puedo señalar sin miedo a equivocarme el momento en el que más he dudado de mí mismo con total claridad: fue cuando me decidía a dejar, o no, mi país para emigrar a Pamplona, España.

La incertidumbre era abrumadora.
Sin embargo, en medio de esa duda, tomé una decisión consciente: confiar en mis conocimientos, en mi experiencia y en mis posibilidades. Fue un salto de fe, pero no un salto a ciegas. Era un cálculo donde la variable más importante era mi propia capacidad.

En ese cálculo, mi familia (mi mujer y mis dos hijos) fue el factor decisivo. Saber que, ante cualquier dificultad, no estaría solo, fue lo que inclinó la balanza. Ellos no solo eran mi motivación; eran y son el cimiento firme y sólido sobre el que se apoya toda mi confianza.
Su presencia convirtió un desafío solitario en un proyecto en equipo. La superación personal, entendí, no es una hazaña individualista. Es la fortaleza que obtienes de tu red de apoyo, que te permite arriesgarte porque sabes que hay alguien que te respalda.

Emigrar no es sencillo.

Es enfrentarse a una tierra nueva, a culturas diferentes, a costumbres distintas, a un clima al que no estás acostumbrado. Es, en esencia, un nuevo comienzo absoluto. Para nadie es fácil comenzar desde cero. No voy a negar los momentos duros, las frustraciones y la añoranza. Pero mantuve una confianza práctica en que lo lograría.
Confianza en que tenía las herramientas y el apoyo para hacerlo. Y así fue. Esa decisión, respaldada por la fe en mí mismo y en mi familia, es la prueba más tangible que tengo de que superarse es posible.
No se trata de no tener miedo, sino de actuar a pesar de él, con los pilares correctos sosteniéndote.
