February 13th and 14th 2007

In these two short journal entries I'm playing around with a checklist format which is something I still do from time to time.

The first entry is for February 13th, 2007 and includes some stuff for the Master's degree program I was about to start. Ironically, I used a Pocket PC (with a keyboard) for taking notes vs. hand writing them. I was pretty excited about the free laptop that came with the free degree (courtesy of my employer at the time). Unfortunately, that laptop ended up being a real piece of junk. It did survive long enough to get me through the program. It died and was fixed under warranty and then died again not too long after the warranty expired.

The second entry for February 14th, 2007 includes items to get ready for MegaCon that year. I think I was trying to complete my X-Files comic book collection. I still have them but I still don't think I have a complete set. I mention getting tapes so I must have still been using my Digital 8mm video camera.
