Less reports, more building?

Hello!

I saw something interesting from Donald Trump today. He said that companies in the United States should not be forced to report their results every three months. Instead, they should do it only two times per year. Every six months.

The idea is to reduce the pressure on businesses. Right now, managers spend a lot of time and money preparing reports, talking with analysts, and trying to meet numbers each quarter. Sometimes they even make short term decisions only to look good in the next report. That is not always healthy for the company.

If they report every six months, maybe there is more space to focus on building, planning and long term vision. It can also save costs, because the reporting system in the U.S. is expensive. Less time in papers, more time in real work.

But of course, there are risks too. Investors will have less information during the year. Surprises could be bigger if a company hides problems for six months instead of three. This may also create more volatility in the stock market when reports finally arrive.

And what about Bitcoin? Well, I think this change shows again how the financial system tries to adapt. Stocks are tied to reports, regulations, and short term cycles. Bitcoin is not. It doesn’t need to show quarterly earnings or hide losses. It is transparent, open, running 24/7. That is why more and more people see Bitcoin as a long term safe bet.

If businesses focus on long term, investors may also start looking more at assets like Bitcoin, gold, or land. Because these are not about the next quarter, but about the next decade.

Let’s see if this proposal moves forward. It could be a big shift for Wall Street.

Stay strong and enjoy your weekend with family or friends!
