CZ speaks facts!

CZ just tweeted today: “Bitcoin will flip gold.”
And honestly, I think he might be right. Maybe it sounds crazy to the traditional guys, but if you look around, the numbers start to make sense.

Bitcoin is already number 8 in the world by market cap. Just below Amazon, just below Silver, and not too far from Gold anymore. Gold is around 30 trillion, Bitcoin is 2.2 trillion. Still a long way, sure, but things move faster now. Bitcoin doesn’t need centuries like gold did. The Internet spreads things globally in months, not decades. (see photo at the end)

People forget that Bitcoin is not just another asset. It’s a network, it’s money, it’s technology, it’s a movement. Every year more people understand what it really means: self-custody, freedom, no intermediaries, no inflation. Once that clicks, it’s impossible to unsee it.

Gold had its time. It worked in the analog world, when everything was slow and physical. But now we live in a digital economy, and Bitcoin is simply the better version. You can send it across the world in seconds, verify it instantly, and no one can confiscate it. Try doing that with a gold bar.

CZ’s tweet hits different because it’s not some random influencer saying it. It’s someone who’s seen the full cycle, who understands how adoption works. He knows it won’t happen tomorrow, but it’s just a matter of time and patience.

When Bitcoin reaches the same market cap as gold, it will be a historic moment! And I will be there to enjoy it! It will mean people finally trust math more than politics, and we will have done it!

Maybe it takes 5 years, maybe 10. But today’s tweet feels like a little reminder of what’s coming.
