Lets Purchase Foundation Packs

Looks like they are only $0.03 USD each. I have some credits lingering in my account but lets check the DEC price of these Foundation packs (67.219 DEC as of 2026-05-10). That means ten packs will cost just 30 USD cents. My mind is still slightly stuck in 2021 although much less so than before. Meaning --- seeing packs at such price points is like a gift from the fun patrol. Flipping packs is where its at --- waiting for and watching that rumble while screaming turn gold is still a thing. Being able to do that for just 3 cents --- priceless. Anyway - I won't be using DEC to purchase these packs. I'll be using CREDITS. CREDITS have a value of $1/1000 and can be attained utilizing Paypal (Found on the Splinterlands site). The updated screenshot below will display the total cost in CREDITS for 10 Foundation Packs (310 Credits). Lets make that purchase now.

Lets open those packs

Usually I open packs one at a time but today I'm feeling the bulk open option. We won't be using any potions as we never do for no apparent reason other than that is just how we do it. After purchase we will have to go to the MANA Well to drop our packs in. Doing so provides some animation and displays the contents inside.

We beat the odds by a mile. We won't bother with a picture for each one but take a look at the first two series of cards flipped. Two gold cards in the first series of cards and one of them Golds being an ARCHON. I figured that be that and the rest of the flip likely to be mainly common cards with a Rare or two but I was wrong. The very next set of cards flipped I get four RARE with one being an ARCHON. Those Rare cards were accompanied by a LEGENDARY. Yes once that rumbling started - I said very loudly -- Turn Gold! Lots of other Rare's and Epics were found as well. Over-all it was a fantastic set of cards to uncover. I still have near $8 in CREDITS. I'll likely purchase some more FOUNDATION Packs in the near future and see if our luck continues. A little browsing of the official sales market for individual cards is in order as well but I don't have time for that at the moment. Unfortunately household chores are calling my name.
