Holozing APR's (My Zing Token Goal Progress)
As you can tell by the screenshot above its been awhile since I claimed my ZING Tokens. This is because I went MIA for awhile as I always do. Breaks are good, balance is the key to everything. However there comes a time when one must get back at er. Upon my return I had some slight log in issues that were easily remedied but put off until now. Which is the reason for my recent lack of CLAIMs. After that long break from doing so it's time to get back to making claims. Its as easy as clicking a button and collecting rewards.
With a click of a button my wallet now contains 117,000 more ZING tokens than it did just a moment ago. This means I now have roughly 570,000 ZING Tokens. I also have somewhere near 30,000 ZING on Hive-Engine. Such an amount gives me a grand total of 600,000 ZING Tokens. A decent amount in-deed but just 60% of my One Million Zing Token Goal. Once again I will be attempting to make my claims more often. Such will help with reaching my one million Zing Token goal.
As the screenshot above shows staking ZING Tokens will currently yield you a 3.20% APR. Delegating Hive Power (easily done on the Holozing Site) will yield you 5.50% APR. Joining the Liquidity Pool will earn you a massive 43% APR. Be warned liquidity pools are not for everyone. Do your own research before joining one. This isn't just true for the Zing Liquidity Pool but all Liquidity Pools. After you do your research and you think you are ready to jump in do some more research first. Did the research (Yes) Great, if you choose to participate or not we wish you luck regardless.
As for me I'm already in the pool. I dipped my pinky toe in some months back and been slowly but surely entering my entire foot. My strategy is a simple one. All the dropped ZING I get from the pool I put back in the pool with equal amounts of HIVE. Currently my Pool share is just 0.08%. That isn't allot of ZING which means I'm risking minimal amount of my Hive Tokens. Once I grow my Pool share I might consider selling half my ZING dropped from Pool participation and use it to provide liquidity. Meaning 50% the Zing Tokens I get dropped will get traded for the Hive Token. I will use the remaining 50% and newly acquired Hive to increase my Pool percentage. I'd like to take credit for this 50/50 strategy but I learned it from reading a post belonging to another named @mightyrocklee.
This begs the question, Where Does One Go To Participate In The ZING Pool? Your good ol pal @rentmoney has the answer you are looking for. Simply head on over to TribalDex (Hive-Engine) > Log In > Click the SWAP icon at top of the page > Click Pools > Presto a list of pools will appear. It really is that easy. To find the Zing:Swap.Hive Pool navigate to the search bar and type in ZING. The ZING pools and the token pair you need will then appear. Keep in-mind that you will need equal amounts of each token to participate. Meaning if you want to place $10 worth of ZING in the Pool you will also need to place $10 worth of SWAP.HIVE. Did we mention to make sure you do your own research before attempting this.
Now that is all fine and dandy but that doesn't explain how to participate. That only shows us the pairs. To participate in the pool and to add your desired token amounts you will need to Log In to TribalDex > Click the SWAP icon (top of page) > Click the icon to the side that says ADD LIQUIDITY. After following those simple steps a new pop-up window will appear. Select the pool you want to add liquidity to and enter your desired amounts. Double check to make sure the amounts you entered are correct. If so go ahead and click the ADD LIQUIDITY icon. Once you do so you will be participating in said pool. You can remove your liquidity at anytime that you like by following the same directions as above and clicking Remove Liquidity.
