Got some deals on GOLD ARCHONS

I managed to snag a few more cards for the collection. Continuing with the same theme as my last post - we purchased some more Foundation cards. This might of been my best score yet. Today we managed to scoop a MAX copy of the ARCHON known as THALGRIMORE. We did so for just $1.50 - did I mention it was GOLD. Looking at the market for individual Thalgrimore cards we can see the cost of a level 2 starts at roughly 70 cents. So if one were fast enough to purchase the four most affordable Level 2 Thalgrimore cards it would cost a total of $2.80 USD. That is over 46% in savings or put another way $1.30 USD in savings. Thalgrimore is a Rare Death Archon that hands out -1 health to enemies. Looking at my Foundation Death deck I only have one other maxed gold card which is Spinetail Fiend. We are going to have to improve on that. Luckily we have a Black Foil Nim Guard Captain that is also maxed and is a Death card. All Black Foils come in MAX variants only. But wait there's more :) We also managed to snag a Level 3 Incessant Sage for just 50 cents. We now have two level 3's which we are now going to combine to make a MAX Gold Foil version (Done and Done).

After doing that combining I now have two MAX level Archons that are Gold Foil. I'll have to look through my collection again later tonight when I got a spare minute to do so to see if I can round up some more lower level cards to potentially MAX them. It's been awhile since I had time to sit and battle my foes on the Foundation Ranked Battle-Field but I'm making time to do so later today. I also took a moment to see what the value of my RentMoney card collection was. I was pleasantly surprised to see it hasn't dipped over the past weeks/ months. If anything it had a small uptick. With the price of HIVE as it is its easier than ever to hoard and attain the Hive Token. I'll have to contemplate some trading of current assets for Hive Tokens. I would like to increase my Hive Power so I can better curate worthy content and of course curate those who I interact with here on the Hive Blockchain. However that is a thought for tomorrow. Today I'll sign off by sharing the THALGRIMORE lore with you below. Thalgrimore Lore:

Demons are fiends of terrible aspect, marked by grotesque features that betray their infernal origins: horns, claws, fangs, or flesh corrupted by unnatural power, whether chitinous, flame-wreathed, or stretched and rotting over inhuman frames. Some are hulking brutes, others twisted parodies of mortals. Though they may appear ancient or youthful, demons do not age. They are immortal unless slain and exist outside any known natural life cycle. When they gather, it is in cruel hierarchies. When they act, it is to destroy, corrupt, or dominate.

The Belurocian Empire is home to more demons than any other splinter in Praetoria. Founded on conquest and governed through fear, it is ruled by the lord of darkness from the capital of New Beluroc. Governance falls to the Cimmerian Order, a centralized authority charged with executing the throne’s will through hierarchy and merciless discipline.

Thalgrimore serves as a grandfather of the Cimmerian Order, a personal emissary of the lord of darkness and a conduit for his master’s intent. He is sent to observe, deliver instruction, or simply be seen. When he arrives, voices lower and plans unravel. Hesitation follows. And then, clarity. But not the kind you choose for yourself.

To see him is to be reminded that in the Belurocian Empire, loyalty isn’t a choice. It’s the air you breathe. Until it’s not.

Thanks for reading. You are appreciated :)

I'm still enjoying Frontier league. I figured the chests I won in the last week were worth $1. That will keep me in. I can pay for my Wild pass. I maxed out all regular foil card to see if I could up my win rate. It was running right around 50%. I won 54% last season but am only winning 52% this season. So a little better but not hugely so.
