Chaos Legion:

I been keeping a close eye on CHAOS Legion. A set that many say has been over printed. Rentmoney doesn't share those thoughts. Rentmoney welcomes a set that players new and old can easily dive into for less than 30 cents a pack. Splinterlands very much needed a cash friendly entry point and CHAOS is it. I'll happily point out CHAOS Legion to anyone that thinks assets are too expensive to get started with in Splinterlands. Currently the BID price of a five card CHAOS pack is just $0.23 USD. The ASK price is roughly $0.25 USD. The last sold for price the same as the ASK price. Now if we take a look at the HIVE value for CHAOS packs things start to get interesting. As I pointed out I been keeping a somewhat close eye on CHAOS. What I found to be true is while their USD value dips their HIVE Value has been steady the course. Today (11/04/2025) the HIVE trade value (Bid) of a CHAOS pack is 2.100. The Hive trade value (ASK) is 2.300.

The Chaos Continues:

Continuing with the train of thought above. The HIVE token trade value has been rather steady when weighted against the CHAOS set. Over the past weeks we seen the HIVE Token USD value dip. However within the CHAOS trade market on TribalDex the Hive cost for a CHAOS pack has relatively stayed the same. If we go back 14 days to a post I created titled Chaos Packs Are Worth More Today Vs. Three+ Years Ago. We will see that the cost of a then CHAOS Pack was 2.30 Hive Tokens. Which is the exact trade value of today's CHAOS Packs. That post also points out that 3/4 years ago the Hive Price of a CHAOS pack was 1.97. I find this to be very interesting. Is it possible that the CHAOS price movement is not based on fiat but based on the Hive Token itself? If so the CHAOS market is clearly showing that somewhere around 2 Hive is what they are willing to trade for CHAOS. Will this continue to be the trend if HIVE dips further? Will it continue to be the trend if HIVE spikes? To be honest I have no clue. I think that would depend on the dip and spike. I do believe that we won't always see CHAOS at these very affordable USD price points. I also believe its not likely CHAOS will continue to be 2 - 2.3 Hive Tokens for very long if Hive's USD trade value continues to dip. I suspect if dips continue the Hive Trade value of CHAOS will increase.

Hive Token

Below we see the USD trade value of the Hive Token as displayed on CoinMarketCap. The graph below is a 1 Week Graph. The Hive Token has dipped near 20% in a week. The current trade value stands at just under eleven USD cents. For many this is scary and exciting times. The current trade value of the Hive Token isn't one I would have predicted we dip to. But yet here we are and there is still a chance the Hive fiat value dips even further. However there is a silver lining. It's much easier now to fill your bags both in the aspect of cost and earning on the Hive Blockchain. As the price dips less interact on the content creating side. This means getting your content noticed is easier to do. Keep creating, keep pushing forward, markets will market. Don't let the dip in price sway you from how awesome the Hive Blockchain is. This isn't the first time a token dipped in price to recover in a bull market and it won't be the last time a token does so either. That being said, hedge those bets when possible. Don't invest what you can't afford to lose and always do your own research.
