Guild Brawls With Pizza 2 - Pushing The Quora Towersheads To Fatigue

Time flies! Just completed the 254th brawl with my awesome guild, which is none other than Pizza 2 The Deep Dish!

  • Fun In The Discord Chats

Really appreciated the interaction in the Discord chats within the Pizza guilds. During the preparation phase, there's a lot of information sharing and discussion on who to fill each fray. During the brawls, there were reminders to members to complete their brawl battles. And after the brawls, there were celebratory messages and some members (including me) would write about our experience in the brawls. Aside from brawls, I thought the donations were also very well organised and tabulated, with lucky draws to incentivise donors as well.

  • Moving Back To Bronze Fray

Had 8 battles this time and it was not an easy round, especially when they have recently introduced 3 rulesets for each battle. Moreover, I have rented out most of my cards because I was playing lesser these days.

  • We Got 7th!!!

So for the final result, we were 7th out of 10 guilds and got 400 Merits and around 9 SPS! A good bag of SPS! Who knows how much one SPS would go to in this market?

Individually, I had 8 fights this time and I won 7 of them this time! Finished 2nd within the guild. Due to change in format, wins are actually awarded to the players present in the fray if guilds decided to skip the fray. For this round, there were 1 additional win for me.

Battle 1 - WIN

Gladius Card Used: Witch Of Warwick

It's been a while since Witch Of Warwick produced such an impressive performance. Interesting ruleset definitely helped as I went for a Life Leech setup and it paid off.

Battle 2 - WIN

Gladius Card Used: Larissa Kerato

First fight against Quora Towershead in this brawl but my team produced an awesome 6-0 win! Aves Sturgis was definitely the star in this one due to the Weapons Training ability! My damage output was massive!

Battle 3 - LOSE

Gladius Card Used: None

It's Quora Towershead again.. And this time there was just no way for me to beat her in a 14 mana battle. Oh well.

Battle 4 - WIN

Gladius Card Used: Alfredo

Both teams clashed over Water lineups but Prophet Rosa made all the difference. The ability boost to Axemaster was very powerful and it was enough to scrape through this tricky ruleset with a win.

Battle 5 - WIN

Gladius Card Used: Sola Ranjell

Sigh. Quora Towershead AGAIN. Both teams had 2 healers in the backline and the battle dragged on for 20+ rounds till fatigue. Fortunately my healer had more HP and one extra round of healing made the difference. Quora Towershead is just too overpowered and I think I am just lucky to be able to win via strategy.

Another Quora Towershead!? Everyone is just spamming her in the battles. Which then beg the questions, where's the fun in the brawls? Once again, my two healers behind Iziar managed to drag this battle all the way to 20+ round and we managed to outfight Quora Towershead thanks to fatigue.

So that sums up my 8 battles for this brawl! 88% win rate this time, back to my usual form! And winning 3 out of 4 battles against Quora Towershead. Let's keep fighting PIZZA 2!
