Guild Brawls With Pizza 2 - 87 Gladius Cases And Counting!
Time flies! Just completed the 265th brawl with my awesome guild, which is none other than Pizza 2 The Deep Dish!
- Fun In The Discord Chats
Really appreciated the interaction in the Discord chats within the Pizza guilds. During the preparation phase, there's a lot of information sharing and discussion on who to fill each fray. During the brawls, there were reminders to members to complete their brawl battles. And after the brawls, there were celebratory messages and some members (including me) would write about our experience in the brawls. Aside from brawls, I thought the donations were also very well organised and tabulated, with lucky draws to incentivise donors as well.
- Moving Back To Bronze Fray
Had 6 battles this time and it was not an easy round, especially when they have recently introduced 3 rulesets for each battle. Moreover, I have rented out most of my cards because I was playing lesser these days.
- We Got 7th!!!
So for the final result, we were 7th out of 10 guilds and got 350 Merits and around 9 SPS! A good bag of SPS! Who knows how much one SPS would go to in this market?
Individually, I had 6 fights this time and I won 2 of them this time! Finished 5th within the guild. Due to change in format, wins are actually awarded to the players present in the fray if guilds decided to skip the fray. For this round, there were 3 additional wins for me.

It's always Quora Towershead again. My Melee lineup just had no chance. Frustrated again and again.

Battle 2 - LOSE
Gladius Card Used: None
My opponent had quite a number of newer cards in the lineup and I must admit they looked pretty strong. I was definitely outclassed here and had to take a loss.

Battle 3 - WIN
Gladius Card Used: Relenor Cleaver
Finally a satisfying win! Prophet Rosa is one strong summoner when paired with the right cards like Axemaster, and my newly discovered Drybone Raider! Huge amount of damage output!

Battle 4 - LOSE
Gladius Card Used: Sola Ranjell
Look it's Quora Towershead again! It's once of those fights that there was no way to field a better lineup given the low mana constraint.
MVP: None
Battle 5 - WIN
Gladius Card Used: Trapp Falloway
No Quora Towershead in this one because it's Little League. Riftwing surprised me with an exceptional performance as the secondary tank, and gave tremendous cover for the backline to inflict the damage. Comfortable win despite my opponent having so many new cards.
MVP: Riftwing
Battle 6 - LOSE
Gladius Card Used: Whistling Damon
I had a very strong lineup and a good start, but it all fell apart thanks to my opponent's Quora Towershead. Whatever. So sick and tired of fighting and then losing to Quora Towershead.
MVP: None
So that sums up my 6 battles for this brawl! 33% win rate this time, but we all know why. Let's keep fighting PIZZA 2!
