The Xiaomi company presented a new operation of its humanoid, the Cyber ​​One V2, and a completely different environment than expected, an event with investors and what it did there completely changed the perception of these robots, no lifting weights or operating machines, it distributed gifts, greeted people with high fives, made heart gestures and interacted naturally.

It may seem simple, but it is not, because interacting with humans is much more difficult than working in a factory, in the industry everything is predictable, in the real world it is not, each person reacts differently, each movement is different, each interaction requires adaptation and Cyber ​​One V2 showed that it is already starting to handle that.

Before this demonstration, the robot was being tested on Xiaomi's own electric vehicle production line, where it achieved more than 90% success in industrial tasks, operating with precise and repetitive cycles, that is, it learned by working and is now being tested living with us humans.

Behind these simple gestures there is an important engineering leap, the new model brings hands more proportional to human size with up to 27 degrees of freedom, which allows much more natural movements, in addition, advanced thermal control systems allow maintaining strength and precision without overheating, something critical for continuous use.

The robot is not only learning to work, it is learning to live together and when machines really make that transition, they will stop being industrial tools and will begin to become part of human daily life.
