The Figure company manages to produce one robot per hour.

The North American company Figure announced an advance that can redefine the entire industry, its BotQ factory in California managed to increase the production of humanoid robots from one unit per day to one per hour, this represents a jump of 24 times in less than 4 months and this type of growth does not occur by chance, it happens when a technology leaves the experiment phase and enters the industrial phase.

BotQ stopped being a laboratory and became a production line dedicated to the Figure 03 humanoid with more than 150 workstations connected by its own manufacturing software. Each stage of the process was redesigned to scale, motors, batteries, actuators, structure and systems began to be produced with industrial standardization, allowing repetition, control and speed.

But the most important detail is not in the quantity, it is in the quality. The company implemented more than 50 inspection points throughout production and more than 80 functional tests per robot, including physical exercises such as squats and running to eliminate faults before delivery and the result, more than 80% performance on the first pass of the final line.

And in batteries, an impressive level of 99.3% efficiency with thousands of units produced, this shows that it is not just rapid production, it is reliable production and there is an even more powerful effect happening behind this, each robot produced generates data and that data feeds the company's artificial intelligence model called Helix, creating a cycle of accelerated evolution, more thefts, more data, improved AI, more capable thefts, more production.

It is a cycle that feeds itself and has already begun, in addition Figure its system to integrate computer vision with motion control, allowing the robot not only to feel the body, but also to see the environment in 3D, this solves one of the biggest challenges of robotics, leaving the simulation and functioning in the real world.

Now the robot can climb stairs, handle uneven surfaces and adapt without manual adjustments and adapting seems to have been the norm for humanoid robberies.

Sorry for my Ingles, it's not my main language. The images were taken from the sources used or were created with artificial intelligence
