Deep Robotics presented the Limex M20S

There is a problem that few people think about when talking about robots, the real world is not flat, it is not dry, it is not predictable and that is exactly why many incredible robots simply do not work outside the laboratory.

Now imagine a robot that not only accepts that chaos, but was made for it. The company Deep Robotics presented the Limex M20S, an evolution of a previous model, but which now enters another level, it is not just an inspection robbery, practically an extreme worker, the type of machine that you send to a place where humans would avoid going.

And the difference begins in the structure, it combines articulated legs with wheels, it seems like a detail, but it is not, Robots with wheels are fast, but they get stuck easily on uneven terrain, Robots with legs can walk anywhere, but they are slow, it combines both, it uses wheels to gain speed, it uses legs to face obstacles and this solves one of the biggest problems of mobile robotics, but there is more, it is amphibious, that is, it is not only waterproof, it operates within it. lagoons, mud, humid environments, all of that becomes part of the project and that completely changes the type of task that this robot can execute.

Now you can take sensors, tools and equipment to places where previously only possible with a lot of human risk, dam, pipelines, flooded areas and critical infrastructure. Another important point is the load capacity, this model was reinforced precisely to carry more weight and that means something direct in practice, it is not just a robot that observes, it is a robot that works.
